Mods not showing up IG

So ive edited the user.script
to match my mod names in the data.pack

mod test1.pack;

Ive also edited the pack types and tried both Movie and Mod.

the test changes im making do not appear to be showing up in game... very confusing? what else can I do?

All im trying to do modify some faction colors and as a simple test i also tried changing the front end faction leader inuque characters_tables to show Zhao Yun under LiuBei instead of Guan Yu as quick little test,
also doesnt work...
Any ideas?

Also just editing the vanilla database.pack doesnt show up IG either..

removing the database.pack entirely from my data folder allows the game to play as normal.. so im real confused now.

OMMMGGGG its cuz the games installed in 2 places, one on my SSD and one on my HDD somehow.. fml
