How can ı stop A.I'S army spamming ?

Greetings. I love Spqr mod. I play the campaing many times since its first release. But ı never able to finish it because of the spamming issue. All the world is my enemy, this is for challengy game playing, ı can understand that but that spamming issue is really sucks.
So would you help me to get rid of that situation ?

Main thing to do is CUT their production ability, this is done by removing the ownership of towns and cities. When you do that they really can't keep sending troops, also correct use of assassins to damage production works well! To remove the feature from your game by force just increase the cost of the units, this is a simple but very effective way of preventing the AI from making too many units.
