Mutual trust and respect would have helped you very much in this case.
They don't say it, but they definitely act like it. Actually feminism makes it incredibly easy to get laid. But while it makes for a fun time in university, one doesn't help but notice that no matter how liberal and progressive you are, society can't really function without institute of family, or "patriarchy", if you will.
I don't will. Why does family = Patriarchy? I could imply Matriarch or just more rationally an equal partnership. It could encompass all manner of extended family arrangements that provide the same stability but are missing one of the traditional pair of nuclear family.society can't really function without institute of family, or "patriarchy", if you will.

Liberals now want to redesign ''boyhood''.
https://www.theatlantic.com/family/a...oyhood/562232/
This is how they imagine it. And people still doubt there's an attempt to make men more effeminate, I guess more prone to ''socialism'' because maybe that way they'll be less competitive. Pretty funny how the circle of humanity goes. Effeminate men, historically, preceed downfall.
But you implied it...
You implied family was equivalent with patriarchysociety can't really function without institute of family, or "patriarchy", if you will.
Lets see here Merriam Webster 1982 edition third new international Dictionary pg1656
1. Obs PATRIARCHATE
2. Social organization marked by the supremacy of the father in the clan or family in both domestic and religious functions, the legal dependence of the wife or wives and children, and reckoning of decent and inheritance on the male line.
Looks you are saying family means formal male dominance - no?

That's not how "they" image it. That's how the author who experienced with her son wanting to wear a dress imagined it. This quote from the article kinda frames your sad failing effectively:
Other parts are quite on point too:But they can’t. Not without someone looking askance. To embrace anything feminine, if you’re not biologically female, causes discomfort and confusion, because throughout most of history and in most parts of the world, being a woman has been a disadvantage. Why would a boy, born into all the power of maleness, reach outside his privileged domain? It doesn’t compute.
How you managed to read an article you yourself linked is beyond me.It is lopsided to approach gender equality by focusing only on girls’ empowerment. If society is to find its way to a post-#MeToo future, parents, teachers, and community members need to build a culture of boyhood that fosters empathy, communication, caretaking, and cooperation. But how? Could there be a space or an organization for boys where they’re encouraged to challenge what’s expected of them socially, emotionally, and physically? What would the activities be? What would the corresponding catchwords be to the girls’ “brave” and “strong” other than “cowardly” and “weak”?
It’s a societal loss that so many men grow up believing that showing aggression and stifling emotion are the ways to signal manhood. And it’s a personal loss to countless little boys who, at best, develop mechanisms for compartmentalizing certain aspects of who they are and, at worst, deny those aspects out of existence.

"We're nice mainly because we're rich and comfortable."
The Mayor of Reggio Emilia (liberal, Democratic Party) in Italy has been caught in a gigantic scheme to take away kids from families, give them to politically aligned ''foster'' ones, so that they could receive welfare checks, while the kids would go through brainwashing therapies including use of electrodes so that they could lose memories of their family.

It's time to bring back the death sentence.
First off, it's extremely disingenuous to post an Italian populist website to frame what happened in this situation. Most people on this forum on this forum don't speak Italian, and the website makes a living on sensationalizing news to connect it to a wider leftist movement. You should at least post multiple articles to account for bias, at the very least. You would complain if people used an article that was "left leaning" to frame a discussion right?
Anyways, the english sources I have read cite that many officials in the city collaborated with foster families (I did not find a political affiliation) to brainwash kids to say they were sexually abused so that those foster families could get the kids (and this situation involved hundreds of thousands of euros being passed around). There was also reports that some of those kids were sexually abused by those foster families. That is it. Don't know why you thought this was relevant to this thread, or how this is related to "leftist ideology".

You know, I'm starting to think Basil might be more interested in bashing liberalis and peddling an agenda rather than discussing facts and reality.
"I pray Heaven to bestow the best of blessings on this house and all that shall hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof."
- John Adams, on the White House, in a letter to Abigail Adams (2 November 1800)
Follows the previously started line of liberals rewriting or attempting to rewrite education to abuse kids.
I wasn't really sure if the international press would pick it up, since the national mainstream one tried to bury it until people started getting mad.
Didn't you want to make a thread to discuss nationalism anyway? Or maybe it was someone else.
I'm interested in bashing the wrongdoings of liberals, thus facts and reality.

Look Basil, you are a motivated dude who seeks to understand how we are influenced against our will. I assume you agree with the premise that human are all self interested (regardless of ideology) and seek to empower ourselves when they can. The people who own that website are incentivized to frame news within their own view of the world, because they want to get your views (for money) and perpetuate ideas that will make them more popular. Not only do they do it, but every news outlet (regardless of political affiliation) does this. If you want us to discuss the issue, give us multiple sources and piece together the facts that people agree on. Otherwise, were are at the mercy of being influenced by a small minority who are not motivated to give us a truthful recount of what happened.
The Italian website you posted.

There are other websites that provide a different interpretation of the events that occurred, and they did not demonstrate how this is politically related. I'm questioning the framing of your source and I want you to acknowledge that the way media works can often times frame events in a way to benefit their own ideology or self interest. This doesn't seem politically motivated, which means you need to do better to demonstrate that it is.
''Il Fatto Quotidiano'' is progressive, broadly aligned with M5S, while one of its key directors is Stefano Feltri, a Bilderberg attendee and globalist advocate.

And that's his own blog.
Clearly it has a bias, just like most, if not every, news sites do, but it's not my side's bias.
As for the ''political motivation'', the Mayor's political position is relevant because it allows contact with social services and the creation of the scheme in question.
