    Default Carthage reform requirements order

To get the Carthage reform, you need to win a number of large battles against the Romans (I think it's 5 battles with around 10 units on each side) with a Barcid as war leader after 237 BCE.

    A couple questions:

Does the War leader need to be a Barcid for the battles to count towards the reform? Would the reforms occur if I had won those five battles and in the future made a Barcid War leader?

Would the battles count towards the reform if they were before 237 BCE? Would I get the reforms at 237 BCE if I had met all the requirements?

The battle "counter" goes from the beginning of the game - if you've already fought more than 5 qualifying battles, that trigger is satisfied. Note they have to be fought on the battlemap, auto-calc'd battles don't count.

Barcid Warleader or Barcid Faction Leader. If you've already fulfilled the conditions by 237BC, then it'll trigger right then.

Does the war leader need to be a Barcid at 237?

Judging from my last campaign, any five land battles fought against Rome on the battlemap will do. Of the five battles I fought before triggering the reform, only two could be counted as *major battles*.
