    Hi, this mod looks amazing I can't wait to try it. Actually, I'm having some issues with installation. I keep getting the error message "encountered unspecified error and will now exit". I've tried a number of ways around this as follows

    1. UAC disabled
    2. Clean install of med2 on another disk
    3. Deletion of all mods
    4. 4gb patch
    5. Changing the name of the mod folder to kingdoms expansion

    Been looking all day for a solution to this but havent had any luck

    Did you delete the mod and then put it into the main mod folder? Bc sometimes that happens to ppl.

    yeah, I tried deleting and reinstalling the mod a few times. I also tried using some of the steam commands on the official troubleshooting thread linked earlier.

    I have encountered a weird thing though.


    Maybe it is because of the extra stuff i added but i don't know.
    Do you have an idea why this might be happening ?

    Image can't be enlarged =( but I think the problem is the benefactor? Great news, people are coming out as gay back then too haha XD it is a weird bug though, what stuff have you added?

    Nothing much. Some minimods, a script for selecting the faction heir and one script for 4 turns per year but i believe, i have been very careful adding those.
    Maybe starting a new campaing will fix it. The idea of conquering the world with Edward Xochitl is tempting though

    hey medwarrior,

    I think you mean the last name of the character, is that right.
    That is indeed weird and should not happen. But you brought me unto a lead I need for another problem.
    I think I have to go back and look and the names files, which might be why some people experience crashes at startup.
    This may be a missing character in the txt file I have overlooked.

    This bug could happen, because the aztec last names are somehow linked with the english ones...
    This should be nothing to worry about, besides some weird names popping up, but i am onto it

    Hey 4zumi,

    Glad to be of assistance. I also had a problem with changing unit stats, after editing EDU and launching the mod loading screen pops up and then immediately closes.

    It is not a big deal but just wanted to let you know.

    I just came across this mod and it looked fun. I am having a blast with it. It has become one of my favorites. Good work! Do you have any future plans for this mod?

    i know i am late, but this yould be easily one little mistake with the coding. Some forgotten space, etc. The log would tell you in this case.

    thanks , and no, besides from bugfixes when i get around to it, this one is finished as it is. A pure extended grand campaign experience, with no unneccessary clutter.

    A late answer, but an answer. As i said in the TVB thread, I needed some time of due to RL things. Happy new year.
    You would need to change a line in the EDB in the City conversion section, if my mind does not fault me. It is not possible to convert a city into a castle, but you can change it there, by allowing the conversion for later stages.

    What files would I have to mess around with in order to give the appaches mercenary ships that appear around florida?

    Two files:

    1. data/export_descr_unit.txt

    Prepare a unit to be a mercenary (add mercenary_unit to it's attributes) and add Appaches' ownership


    2. data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_mercenaries.txt

    Make it recruitable here, if the florida region isn't listed there, check the list of regions in data/world/base/descr_regions.txt
