    Hey, the crazy roman is here . I already talked to 4zumi about another bug in the preleased TVB 3.3 . The bug is for all the musketeers (including apache one) in the mod . I think the reason for the ctd is the fact that the skins are not in the folder for some reason . I will see to it .

    Edit 1 : Just discovered that that musketeer problem it's not from my mistake but the textures etc simply don't exist in the folders .

    That is very odd, I have no problems like this. And I checked Apachean Gunners and Musketeers. Worked fine.
    If anyone else is experiencing a crash, give a shoutout.
    I hope it is not a faulty upload or something like that.

    There is a patch in the works, that resolves some minor issues and bugs and brings some unit balance changes.
    So everyone working on a submod, I would suggest you postpone your work until that.

    I am planning on releasing this next week friday or so.
    So, if anyone has found some bugs please report them, so I can include a fix in the patch

    So far I had one ctd but that is all. I just made my cpu faster so I shall be fine. I will let you know what happens. What happens if I get a ctd and it says insufficient memory? What do I do then?

    Aww, just when I was about to start making a submod for the units!
    Before you said that though, I tried modifying export_descr_units using notepad++ but it crashes when I loaded it. Didn't happen previously, I just changed unit recruitment, upkeep, and number of soldiers. I've heard that you can't copy paste? Worth mentioning in case you know what's wrong

    Anyway, My head is actually in Tunis while Athelstan's head is in Oslo (I checked the ancillary txt)

    Mhhh,

    i used copy paste extensively before and never had a problem.
    Sound most likely like a missing comma or some other formattinf thing. The log should give you some hint about an error in the EDU.

    ok, thanks. as long as they are non repeatable, they could be normal med 2 bugs. I also had 2 or 3 while playing. mostly after a battle ends.

    The Voulge Militia and the Voulgiers got merged for that. I think that is acceptable, as the Billmen got the same treatment.

    What will be in the patch? U said that you were going to Voulge Militia and Vouldiers, so what will they be called? Same with the billmen?

    i just killed the militia and left the voulgiers. those are now also recruitable in cities to make up for the loss of the militia

    no, it is much better. A totally secret unit, that shredded a unit of DFK in my test. My beloved and fan favourite = The Arcani.
    Recruitable in a Pleasure Palace near you, when you hold Rome as the Byzantines

    And do not scold me for historical inaccuracy. That is a funsy addition...

    every 1/5 battles or so on campaign i get a ctd when it zooms down to start loading anyone else had this?

    yes, i experienced it recently. before and after battle, and quiet randomly. I have not found the issue yet
    It could be a faulty trait or ancillary trigger,...

    Buuuut on the other hand, it only happens, when fighting the battle manually, sooo, there might be some issue with the new red brick castles.
    Could you confirm that this happens only when fighting in eastern europe, or red brick castles ?

    I found out why. But unfortunately I can not tell you in clear wiords what need to be done, because it involves a certain patch, that would be against the TOS to mention or promote it.

    I keep on trying to get into a battle but run into ctds.

    13:23:31.692 [game.script] [always] Germanicu5 ReallyBadAI v5.7 Running. Please upload log and savegames when reporting battle CTDs for SS.
    14:59:47.798 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

    any ideas on how I solve this problem?
