Hey Edyz/Bas, long time no siege...

So, which is more fun for you? Glorious Achievements or the standard "conquer and
kill 'em all"? And why did it take you so long to try out GA? ...?...

    Hi Ax!

I didn't endeavour with it to be honest - I always wanted to destroy and fight rather than go tactical. I went tactical with the English, having the advantage of those bonus points, and it worked out quite well. Also I benefitted a lot from the invasion.

A bit of thread necro here, but I'm curious -

1 - what era did you start in?
2 - roughly how much territory did you end up with by 1453?

I don't think I have never won a GA campaign, partly because I like to start in Early and it's a long wait. One time I went for this as England, and I didn't conquer anything other than Homelands - but then my dynasty simply died out, so I lost the game due to lack of heirs!

I mostly only ever won via GA and I thought I could recall the game offering for you to finish once/as soon as you achieved your GA requirements, rather than you needing to persist until 1453 or any other end date. I may be mis-remembering, though.

I have not seen this since now - sorry Count, and also, wow, long time no see! (TW Org)

I started in Early, from the very beginning, but I will be honest in saying that in about 1250 I had no heirs and my king was married for 15-20 years already so I used .unfreeze.

It's kind of annoying, because all of a sudden the brothers / uncles are not eligible, but yeah.

Hi, everybody! Looking for games in which he spent hours as a child and remembered on MTW. Now I went into this theme, saw a screen of victory, and immediately wanted to re-install. I'm sorry, it's a little off topic.
