    And Happy Cookie Friday...


    Total Bananas beta#6 has arrived


    The manual testing has come to an end today. So I decided to drop an egg la surprise.
    Everything should be mostly done by now.

    The Campaign now runs very,very, very stable (or at least it should do so). I have not experienced a single "unknown source" ctd in the last few playthroughs.

    So go grab the new beta 1.8 GB download 3.8 unpacked.

    And for some unknown reasons the uploading scrambles the living butterflies out of the names.txt, which will lead to an ctd, when you want to start a new campaign.
    For this reason you go grab those two files below and put them into the data/txt folder of the mod (replacing the existing ones) (It worked for me, it should work for you.

    Known bugs:
    Teutonic Unit Voices call you Khan and sound Mongol. (Could not confirm this for now)
    Nothing else?

    PS.: You can safely use my two HRE saves. This is before and after reformation (took the protestant side) I made a little work of love for the hre, that, if you pick the protestants you will be able to recruit Musketeers and Landknecht Pikemen in Europe (from the Tavern building).

    Woo! Also for the Teutons sounding Mongol, I only noticed that in battles, campaign map might be different or the same

    every faction does a ctd, i does not even load the guy with a way too big book intro

    I was able to play but I had two ctds. I seem to do very well but the egyptians are a . What difficulty level should I play?

    So far it runs nice for me, So far things I noticed is;

    Turcomans have peasant in their unit info card.

    There is a big-ass black ship in the middle of map, could be flying dutchman I saw in siege of trebizond as turks.

    Downloaded and applied those 2 extra files but I keep getting a ctd after selecting a faction =(

    It is the same problem witht the corripted names files.
    try this file. I made a small zip with those two files and set them to read-only.
    If that does not work try redownloading those two small files, maybe it works like it did for Brian.
    If not we will try other options.

    whatever difficulty level you feel comfortable with.
    I myself play on medium/medium and I tested the mod around that, but every other difficulty should work like it did before.

    very good.I will try this in the 1.0 update and set those files to read only. maybe it works.

    And a short list of what is to be fixed.

    -Grand Campaign Faction select map update - done
    -Victory Conditions have to be updated
    -Brians Head has to be implemented
    -Karasis Head had to be implemented
    -Historic Text for Timurids has to be changed
    -Sound of the Teutonic Order (will look at it)

    That is all I have left on my list.

    Mercenary turkomans in iconium have a peasant image when you right click them. I think u kept the kalmar requirements the same?

    Thanks, I fixed the turkomans

    and

    Nope, I changed the Kalmar Event a bit.
    Regulary it will occur at turn 150, but i implemented a random timer ranging fom 1-100 so the Kalmar event can occur between turn 50 or 150

    There was a ship (more like a ship model without textures ) at the siege map of trebizond, I am %99 sure I was not drunk or hallucinating or both

    Also two little bugs :
    - Novgorodian general's guard has weird looking horses
    - Jihad message is warpath message

    It sucks that you could not put orleans or burgos settlements in the game. I liked how you put sword and buckler men for scotland. Mounted Naffuten was a nice idea. I still have ctds after 40 or 50 turns. Any ideas why that is?
