Thread: Question about AI population growth

Default Question about AI population growth

Do AI factions have a population growth script?

Asking because I noticed that the population of the city I was sieging increased despite the city having a negative population growth.

    Take a look.

    Turn 164 - population 16000, growth -0.5%

I think it's a hardcoded bonus - I've seen it in the other mods.

I apologize for going off-topic, but is that some kind of modification or was the UI changed in 2.35? I am still playing 2.3 and the game looks very different to me. Having the year displayed on-screen is particularly nice. I take some notes as I play and I often get confused about the year, as it is not displayed in the interface.

Nope, no population scripts for the AI.

The UI hasn't changed, sounds like someone's config is mis-aligned (ie the medieval2.preference.cfg and ebii.cfg are different).

    That's probably it. Thanks.

@Septentrionalis - I made no changes to the mod.
