Default My translation of H.P. Lovecraft (collected works) is out...

It might help my career as literary translator (English to Greek), given the publishing house is quite big and this will be a series of 15 books.

I hope it sells ok. Already had some issues with the editor. I hate editors

    The cover is quite nice:

Λέων μεν ὄνυξι κρατεῖ, κέρασι δε βούς, ἄνθρωπος δε νῷι
"While the lion prevails with its claws, and the ox through its horns, man does by his thinking"
Anaxagoras of Klazomenae, 5th century BC

    Congrats matey.

Did you translate The Thing on the Doorstep? That one is my favorite Lovecraft story.

Also, any words in particular that were a headache to translate? Or was it all pretty straightforward?

    Thank you...
Not yet, I only finished three of the 15 volumes.

Lovecraft uses a few words all the time, so after the first texts it gets repetitive in that respect.

    Congratulations! Thanks for sharing, Kyriakos.

And throw those editors and maniacs off the Tarpeian Rock when you're done.

This seems to be the right place to post these Lovecraftian works.
