    Default Show me your PC!

Well this is kindov a mirror of the 'Show me your desktop' thread but i've seen many other forums have one of these threads for people who want to show off their beautiful, or not so beautiful PC's Plus I wanted to show mine off anyway so thought this was a good way to do it

The case is an X-Blade steel thingy containing some parts that do not do it's beauty justice, apart from by the huge amount they are overclocked by

    Sempron64 3100+ @ 2.4ghz
    1gb DDR400 @ 212mhz latency-1.5
    256mb 7600gs @ 460/740mhz
    160gb Maxtor HDD
    450watts PSU
    Audigy 2 5.1 sound card
Stock cpu and gpu coolers, 80mm side fan, 120mm front fan and a rear exhaust below the graphics card.
The screen is a 19" Widescreen ACER
    The speakers are Creative 5.1

    Let the games begin

EDIT: Can some-one resize my pic please and show me how?

Well, it'll take me a while to list the specs of mine, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Specs and configs have changed a bit between and since I took these but I don't have many recent pics as I've moved a few times lately and haven't had the time.

Not a chance. The thing weighs 50 pounds, and besides, I'm an old man who lives in a town of 6000 Amish people - no LAN parties here - there's barely electricity.

@Aedile Rich, nice PCs...I think I have seen those before somewhere, can't place them though.

    @OTZ - Thanks.
You might have done. I've had them posted on a few forums and websites and the top one was featured in a magazine article and a TV show over here in the UK.
It's getting a bit old now but it won me a grand's worth of hardware in a modding contest, back in the day.
It's actually based on a standard Chieftec Dragon but I modified it quite heavily.

I'm getting the urge to do another soon, tbh.
I'm aiming to build the next one completely from scratch though.

[edit] ... and as for old, I'm thirty err... something. Eight, I think.

You people and your fancy PCs...

Well, I've changed my Ram, Hard Drive, Graphics Card and Sound Card, so basically nothing from the original PC that I bought remains...

This is my old SLI setup. Same tower and everything, except I had an Abit AN8-SLI and two 7800GTs.

    Nothing fancy:

    Now it's an Asus A8N-E and a 8800GTS.

Congrats on the awards and accolades! It's always good to get your hard work recognised. If you do build another, perhaps you can start a thread and take us through the build. I am sure it would jumpstart a few people's creative juices. It may also likely go a long way to promote the idea that PCs aren't scary and custom building one yourself is not that difficult...I can't remember how many threads have been posted in teh basement over the last 3 years from people who want to build their own, but are too scared/worried/concerned that they'll screw something up.

Thanks again. I'll be happy to oblige, if people would be interested.
I have build logs for these machines but there'd be no point linking them at the moment, as I lost a webhost and the majority of pics are down.

If anyone is interested in getting inspired though, they can check out my forum which is listed in my profile. We have some of the most talented PC modders in the world on hand and a very helpful and experienced crew, to boot.

I figure I'm going to be here for a while too though, as the TW series are my favourite games, so I'll be happy to help dispel any fears where I can.
Be warned though people, it's not scary when you're used to it but it can become so much fun that it's addictive.
