Thread: Help with uninstalling M2

    Default Help with uninstalling M2

For some reason, when I click the "Uninstal" application in the Medieval 2 folder, it only removes Third Age 1.4, even though I already deleted that folder. I'm guessing that, somehow, the Uninstall application that came with TA 1.4 overwrote the one Medieval 2 had. Can anyone post his Uninstall application from the Medieval 2 folder so I can uninstall the game properly? I'm going to reinstall on another drive, and I don't want registry issues.

You could try going into Control Panel and under Programs select "Uninstall a Program"

Hmm, that's a good idea, but I was hoping to try to settle this issue from the game itself first, if possible.

Once the files have been removed, then you can do a fresh install easily without it conflicting with original folders

    Guys,

Lets keep the conversation polite and respectful.

I have removed last three posts to return us back to a point where we were.

    Many Thanks

Can I recommend you run a registry cleaner after doing a full uninstall, there may be things lurking in there that uninstall progs miss.

I use free versions of CCleaner and Glary Utilities.
