restricting unit recruitment to home provinces

I have no doubt this has been posted before but could not find anything on it or I just missed it.

is it possible to limit the recruitment of a unit to certain provinces? say for example the variations of longbow units to london, wales and york, or varangian gaurd to constantinople and nicea?

I am modifying my install of geo baremod and was hoping to restrict factions to recruiting militia units once they expand outside of their home regions.

any help would be appreciated thank you.
