Default Relocation to Canada - What do you think?

Many people relocate to Canada and get a Canadian Passport & Citizenship.
It's one of the best countries to live in. What do you think about relocating to Canada?
Anyone here did that? And got Canadian citizenship?

It’s not as easy as you think, there are many barriers to entry.

I suppose if anyone has a soft spot for SJWs virtue signalling with a vengeance, then the barrier hurdling is worth the trouble.

I moved to Canada a few years ago. I lasted about two weeks before I gave up and left. Horrible place.

No offence to any Canadians of course.

Ever been to Burlington, Ontario? Just as WASPy as Burlington, Vermont, USA; we just bow our heads to Her Britannic Majesty @ Westminster.

I have a number of living relatives who have moved to Canada, it's great or terrible depending on whether you go to the West Coast which is great, or the East Coast which isn't. Definitely avoid Onterrible Ontario.

Just felt like I was consistently lied to and let down by people there, they weren't very nice. Everyone is very polite and well-mannered, but most people I met actually didn't seem like very nice people underneath the facade. I also didn't really like the cities there and the layout; I'm used to living in Europe and Asia, with narrow roads and buildings all clustered together. Canada is very wide and open, and it's quite a disconcerting feeling - lends itself to a very different kind of atmosphere and it's not really one I feel comfortable in. Feels less...intimate, if that's the right word.

I get that, people are far too polite all across Canada.
