Affected units: Carthage infantry/cavalry standard bearer, Liby-Phoenician Cavalry, Early Liby-Phoenician Infantry (featured on the unit card as well).

While I'm covering Carthage's units, I might as well make a few suggestions.

    1. Give the Late Lybian Spearmen some color. Right now, they look like a bunch of Stormtroopers. Some Montefortino helmets couldn't hurt either.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    2. Add buckles to the belts of the mailed Lybian Swordsmen and officer_libyan_inf model. Preferably very simple ones - the ones that the Camillian Hastati have would do nicely, although the color of the belts should be changed to fit the Lybian Swordsmen and officer_libyan_inf.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    3. Replace the mail on the Late Liby-Phoenician hoplites - It's kind of obvious the models were taken from a Celtic unit and to me, it doesn't fit in. On the other hand, the Montefortino helmets blended in absolutely perfectly. I would suggest that you use the mail from the Lybian swordsmen, after the belts have been replaced - maybe change the color of the tunics to add variety.

    Bump.

I didn't plan on reporting this so early, but the unit got mentioned today.

The euzonoi have two daggers while in melee combat - one in the hand, the other in the scabbard.

I belive that this belt is reconstructed in an incorrect manner.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The horizontal bar in the center of the buckle should not be visible - the leather should pass over it and then go under the other side of the frame.

I believe that this is an accurate representation of the belt buckle system.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Affected units:

    1.Gallothraikes, Nervii spearmen
    2. Upgraded Noricum swordsmen, upgraded Armorican nobles
    3. Newly published units like the redone Diuixuiroi, Early and Late Scandinavian Spearmen, Early and Late Lugian Swordsmen, revised Adskoros (at least after the armor upgrade)
    4. Possibly others.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I could be wrong, of course - it could be some type of belt buckle I am not familiar with. If that is the case, I would like to see a real life reconstruction.

    1. If not for these saddle blankets, Armenia would have the best looking bodyguard unit in the mod.
I hope you can see the black lines, the screenshots aren't perfect.

Affected units - Armenian bodyguard, Caucasian lancers, possibly others.

    The bodyguard.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Very, very minor - but the black lines are still there.

    The lancers.

2a. Idk if you can notice, but these pilos helmets have some sort of vertical lines in the middle - is it possible to polish it up? Marked in red.
2b. I would like to suggest that this cap is removed, or at least recolored - It looks like it's made from human skin. Marked in green.

Affected units - Galatinised swordsmen and spearmen.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

2c. The Galatinised swordsmen have two swords while in combat - one in hand, the other in the scabbard.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

2d. I would like to suggest that the Galatinised spearmen receive visible siderarms (swords, knives/daggers) and more armor in order to match the swordsmen in appearance - unless of course, there is some historical reason not do so.

    Anatolian medium cavalry.

    1. Those rope belts aren't where they should be.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    2. That left shoulder part of the thorax looks off.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    North-western Caucasian infantry.

    1. I consider these uncovered, unreinforced shields to be a big no-no, especially for a well armed and armored unit. I could be wrong, of course - in which case I would like to see what those shields are based on.

I dont mind the saddle blankets its a minor inconvenience in comparison to other stuff, but Id like to really know more about the proto-Circassians, theyre a super interesting unit but the wooden plank like shield without any cover looks not that great as was said.

I found more units with the same issue:

    - Chatti Veterans, Frisian skirmishers, Germanic Pikemen, Late Germanic Levy Spearmen.

    There could be more.

I guess that the issue arised with the Late Germanic Levy Spearmen - they seem to be the oldest unit. Then it got copy-pasted into a whole host of others.

Is the any way to fix the "scutum-bites-into-shin-when-in-combat" issue?

The forum is a mess, I can't post pictures right now.

The new Raetic Infantry are awesome!

Unfortunately, they have the same messed up belt model I mentioned earlier
Also, something I mentioned about the Ligurians came up here as well. The leather body armor model - the stiches should be hidden. Leaving them exposed to the elements will wear them out quicker.

There, I said it. I'm not particularly proud of myself for nitpicking a brand new unit that looks awesome, but I felt that I had to.

The Roman client rulers have the military service and imperium relinquished traits. One was an ex military tribune. I know that the Romans granted citizenship to local elites, but it's kind of iffy in the game.

    Hey Rad,

I just wanted to say that something must be wrong with your installation of EBII cause I don't have those missing textures on mine. Though I have no clue what could be the problem here.
I'm speaking of the Dahae riders, cause I just checked the Tarantinoi and mercenary hoplitai and indeed there is something weird with their legs !

The Dahae officer model is messed up, the soldiers look fine. Marvzilla also has that issue, he was the first one to bring it up.

This gate cannot be breached - the ram gets stuck. It's a pathfinding bug I guess, but it's also ugly to see

Is it just me, or are the thureophoroi/machairaphoroi a bit... naked?

I mean, I get that they're not meant to be super-heavy infantry á la the thorakitai, but surely there should be more lithenorax-wearing troops within the unit? The majority of them are only armoured with a helmet and shield, which seems excessively light, given that they're meant to be suited to be line infantry?

Unless I'm completely misinterpreting their intended purpose here?
