I already copied and pasted into my main directory and still no sound. I think I screwed it up again.

Did you delete the music.dat and music.idx files in data\sounds?

I did but when the game loads up I still don't hear any music. Any ideas why would that be?

Strange. I'll ask Gigantus to check the files.

Be patient, I'll solve the problem when he discovers the reason behind it or let you know if not.

Me too...the turn change sound, the winter wind sounds or the desert wind one plus the Islamic battle music are the best in all TW games ever made.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

Thank you very much for the appreciation. The problem should now be solved.
@Anthonius: This add-on only contains the music so no turn change and wind effects. I don't know how to mod that nor where to find the audio files.

Sad that this link has expired.
Sad that the files were not shared separately.
I can gather the sound files elsewhere easy enough.
But the descr_sounds_music.txt alone would have saved me some time and trouble.
