    May Gondor be saved, may the orcs of the dark lord tremble, may the haradrim scream in pain under the charge of the riders of Rohan!

    Arise now, arise, Riders of Théoden!
    Dire deeds awake: dark is it eastward.
    Let horse be bridled, horn be sounded!
    Forth Eorlingas!

    Spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
    a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!

    This submod is a total visual revamp of the faction of Rohan for latest version of vanilla TATW 3.2. It's based mostly on the LOTR film's visuals, with some slight alterations to the designs.
    All Rohan faction units will be replaced with new models and textures. I've no intention to update the stats or anything else.

    Attached are the battlemodeldb file and EDU so you can implement the units easily.

    Installation:
    1.- Download the zip file from this link https://www.twcenter.net/forums/down...o=file&id=4431, export the contents to this folder (or how you named your folder when you installed TATW 3.2)
    SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3\data\unit_models\_units
    It should look like this when you are done: SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3\data\unit_models\_units\northmen

    2.- Download the file battle_models.modeldb.zip *remember to backup the original file!*, export the single file contained in it and replace the file on this folder:
    SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3\data\unit_models

    3.- Finally, download the file export_descr_unit.txt *remember to backup the original file!* and replace the file on this folder:
    SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3\data

    Credits & use authorization:
    WETA for inspiration, Makehuman project for the faces models and textures, myself for everything else.
    You may use in your mods freely as long as you give me credits and help me update the unit_info and unit_id files to reflect the new units.

    Bugs:
    Capes disappear when you see them from the front. Some capes are a bit stiff. Some foot guards go through the armor under certain animation positions.

    Support: Help is needed to update the UI's, and make this preview page more awesome looking.

    Many good things here!

    Some thoughts...
    Most of the "golden" parts look greenish yellow, I'd suggest to make them similar to this: http://images6.fanpop.com/image/phot...-1500-1544.jpg and this: https://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr...mor_cu_cal.jpg Or maybe the colouring is simply wip seeing the first bloke in the mid tier has part of the mail coloured and part desaturated?
    I think the scales of scale armour should be smaller, at leas on the torso.
    The face in this post looks very pale, the one in the first post looks much better.
    Will there be any armour upgrades?

    Thanks Araval, I'll see what I can do to the golden/greenish thing: it's strange because it shows up more towards the red than the green in psd. I've resized the scales to about 70% the current size. Faces are placeholders. And yes I'll have armor upgrades maybe even to the plate armor seeing as this is the third age...

    Current Status: All normal units are implemented in game. I'm bug-hunting now and making the final details.
    Pending: Flagsmen, captains and generals.

    They look really good in action. A couple of things that I think could be improved. The specularity in some of the helmets could be increased by making their texture brighter in the reflection map. The faces look pale and don't seem to have eyebrows, I would make the skin texture 15%-20% darker. The capes and leg mail don't seem to have backfaces.

    If you would like to include my eomer on your release I think that would be cool.

    For your armored horses use my placeholder horse no matter if the armor will be textured as metalic or cloth.
    By following the tutorial you can remove the knights suddle of my horse and replace it with another.
    The problem with "dressed" MARKA horses is that they have too many vertices assigned in wrong bones creating uneasthetic results durring their move.
    Here is how the body armor follows horse's move after the fix.

    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.
