Legionary Cavalry...
I've noticed that they are available in Custom Battle, but how would i go about making them available in campaign (perhaps only in provinces with the 'Red Scutum' resource)?

Re: Legionary Cavalry...
Hmm, lets see if i still know how this goes.
In order to make him recruitable you just need to add him to a building.
im not to sure if this was the correct unit, been out of the gamingworld a while, but i think you need to add
recruit "roman heavy cavalry" 0 requires factions { romans_julii,romans_brutii,romans_scipii, } and marian_reforms
under some advanced cavalry barracks. Think i had it under the Hipodrome. Now when a city has the Hipodrome you can recruit Roman Heavy Cavalry wich i think where the Legionairy cavalry at 0 turns construction time, available AFTER marian reforms.
EDIT:
This is done in the Export_descr_building.txt file :p Dont forget to make a back-up when you change stuff.

They were an A-historical unit so they arent available in the campaign.

Re: Legionary Cavalry...
They aren't a-historical, but their role within the game is - every legion had a unit of 120 cavalrymen attached to it, but they weren't quasi-cataphracts (i.e. shock cavalry) as the game portrays them - they were used for reconnaisance, sending dispatches and the like... and chasing down fleeing enemies. I just like the look of them, like i like the segmentata legionaires

The late general bodyguard can fill this role since there is the right amount of them and the look the same.
