Hi there, and welcome to the INVASIO BARBARORVM forum.

Is there a recommended mod to start with?
No, not really. You can try them out in what order you fancy, and since they're all modfoldered, it means that you can have them all installed and still play the original RTW/BI.

Are some of the mods "better developed", that is to say, do some of the mods have noticeably more / better content?
That's a question of preference and taste, I guess. But in my opinion, all the released IB mods are well developed.

Do the mods have a central aim -- i.e. do they intend to make B.I. as historically accurate as possible?
Yes, we intend to make them as historically authentic as possible, within the limits of the Rome Total War platform, of course.

Just wanted to tank the teams that have worked on this series of mods! I'm a huge fan of this time frame, and I'm glad to have stumbled upon these!
