The mechanics of those games request the guesser to take the next turn and post a new image/question for the game to move on; for this reason, a Competition Point will be assigned only if the member has got the correct answer and has then posted a new image/question for the next turn.

If one passes the turn because they can't be online for a while, that's acceptable (unless it's happening often), what is not acceptable is that they just disappear and do not bother to post at all or to pass the turn to someone else. This was my interpretation as Gaming Director for the TGC at the least, lolI can decide otherwise.

Ah, great! Should always check the rules before commenting on them.

I was the rule maker in principle, but we have discussed some modifications and updates to them in this very thread, so it was a joint effort in practice

What do you guys think? For the guess the game competitions, could we establish a practice that knowing the game series is enough? The ritual of guessing all the numbers once the series has been revealed seems to me utterly pointless. Of course if you post a picture of Skyrim and someone says Oblivion, you can still use your judgement and say that is not the game.
