Thread: BAI scripting with Lua

    Default BAI scripting with Lua

    Hi guys,
Did someone ever looked in to BAI scripting. In the scripting library you have some interesting files like scripting_library_battlemanager.lua, scripting_library_patrol_manager, scripting_library_pursuit_manager, scripting_library_rout_manager, etc...
Did someone ever tried to script it and is it tied to the BAI making decisions or with lua you can tweak the behavior?
Because there is something that bothers me a lot since ETW. The artillery only unlimbers ones. And most of the time out of range. When it limbers, it never unlimbers again to fire (like 99% of the time).

But couldn't it be done for the normal BAI? If you can script (historical) battles, why shouldn't it work?
