Things I trust more than American conservatives:
Drinks from Bill Cosby, Flint Michigan tap water, Plane rides from Al Qaeda, Anything on the menu at Chipotle, Medical procedures from Mengele
Marvel: "Avengers 4 will be the best action movie of the year!"
Thunder Road: "Hold my beer."

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

JW is crazy fun. Good to see they put in a German Shephard. Also lol is that Bronn?
That indeed, is. There are also many other cool people in the movie.
Mark Dacascos, Jason Mantzoukas, Anjelica Huston, Saïd Taghmaoui, Yayan Ruhian

The fight scenes might have gone on a bit too long in some areas but goddamn was this a fun experience.
I thought this would be the final movie but I am game for one more. As much as I love them I don't want them to go on forever though.
Edit: Also props to Bronn for the best worst Italian (?!) accent ever

Not sure why you guys like this. I find JW to be a really dumb movie. Even the first was a bit boring imo, but certainly the second was ridiculous, and now this...
Not sure why you watched it. Did you just have some glimmer of hope or something. This is a blatant guilty pleasure for people who like action movies never mind the bits of lore written into it. Get out of our fun.
It's a glorified comicbook made origin on a tv screen.

Blatantly guilty pleasure doesn't even begin to describe these movies. They are just pure dumb fun with an interesting world, exceptional fight choreography, and a fun premise.
Oh and there are even dogs. Who doesn't love dogs...?

This actually gets demonstrably done well when a stunt double is the one directing the movie!
The director was originally Keanu's stunt double in The Matrix back in the day.
David Leitch, his co-director for John Wick I, was a stunt double for Brad Pitt, also directed Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw, and The Division.

Yep. They know stunts and they know how to direct it.
Its like when people with backgrounds in VFX get their chance to sit in the director's chair. Even lower-budgeted movies in this situation tend to have good CG because they know what they need and how to shoot to get the most out of their VFX budget.

And I wouldn't call it pure dumb fun. They know how to tell a good story with the action. As opposed to most directors where the story just pauses for the action. That's the difference.

Well we like it because it is a dumb action movie. That is what made it appealing in the first place. imo.
Liked the first movie way better then the second though. Im yet to see the third.
First movie was good. Great cinematography and action scenes and a simple plot that occasionally gave glimpses of an expanded universe but didn't feel the need to explain things. Everything else has paled in comparison, especially this third film that didn't even really feel like John Wick. They should have left it at one movie.
Btw ill just leave this here. Mildly related. Kinda of.
Well its pretty cool.
That was pretty brutal.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
