I've never been much of a writer... Forgive me for what your about to read..

Campaign descriptions and Map previews -
Aegon's Conquest
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
0 AC: At his seat on Dragonstone Aegon Targaryen prepares to conquer westeros alongside his sisters atop balerion the black dread, Vhaegar and Meraxes. Having a small army of only 1,600 men at arms, much smaller than the armies of the neighbouring Andal Kings Aegon relied upon his dragons to crush his enemys. While in the Riverlands Harren the Black completes construction of his mighty fortress Harrenhall believing himself secure behind his walls and in the south Stormking Argilac the Arrogant calls his banners before the storm arrives..

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The small council's decision to crown Aegon II Targaryen instead of his older half-sister Rhaenyra Targaryen has ignited the first Targaryen civil war. It will be left to each Lord to decide whether to support the Greens or the Blacks in the coming battles.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
157 AC: When Prince Daeron the Young Dragon ascended the Iron Throne in 157 AL, he declared war on the independent Kingdom of Dorne to complete the legacy of his ancestor Aegon the Conqueror and unite all Seven Kingdoms under Targaryen rule. Daeron won the war quickly, a victory that he immortalised in his book Conquest of Dorne: 'The arms of House Martell display the sun and spear, the Dornishman's two favourite weapons, but of the two, the sun is the more deadly.' After the invasion, the Young Dragon left the Lord Paramount of the Reach to rule Dorne in his stead. The proud Dornishmen, although defeated, would neither submit to a Dragon nor a Tyrell. Conspiracies and revolts spread throughout Dorne like wildfire, culminating in the death of Lord Tyrell. His death led to rebellion throughout Dorne and in a fortnight all Daeron had achieved was undone.
Daeron Targaryen and Aemon Targaryen -
Lyonel Tyrell and Rickon Stark -
The First Blackfyre Rebellion
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
King Aegon IV Targaryen had legitimised all of his bastards on his deathbed. His noble bastards were called the Great Bastards, the most notable of whom was Daemon Blackfyre, a great warrior and wielder of the Targaryen sword of kings, Blackfyre. In 184 Al, Aegon IV was succeeded by Daeron II.
After more than a decade of building tension, open warfare erupted in 195 AL. The immediate cause was Daemon Blackfyre's rage over Daeron betrothing his sister Daenarys to Maron Martell, Prince of Dorne. Daeron sent the Kingsguard to arrest him, but Daemon escaped with the aid of Ser Quentyn Ball, the master-at-arms of the Red Keep. Blackfyre mustered a sizeable army against Daeron and was joined by his half-brother Aegor "Bittersteel" Rivers, a fellow Great Bastard. Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers, another Great Bastard, remained loyal to the King. On the small council, Bloodraven advocated a hard line against the rebels, winning out over Prince Baelor's desire to pardon and so war erupted in westeros..
Daeron Targaryen and his kin -
Daemon Blackfyre 'The Black Dragon' -
Leo Tyrell 'Longthorn' -
Third Blackfyre Rebellion
219 AC: Haegon Blackfyre, fourth born son of Daemon Blackfyre, and Aegor Bittersteel launched an attack against Aerys Targaryen to try and claim the Iron Throne for the Blackfyres.
Fourth Blackfyre Rebellion
236 AC: Daemon Blackfyre, the Third of His Name, eldest son of Haegon Blackfyre, along with Aegor Bittersteel launched an attack against King Aegon Targaryen, the Fifth of His Name, by landing at Massey's Hook.
War of Ninepenny Kings
260 AC: The Band of Nine, a group of ambitious power seekers in Essos have conquered the Disputed Lands and the Stepstones. They set up Alequo Adarys the Silvertongue as ruler of Tyrosh. Now Maelys Blackfyre, the last of the Blackfyre Pretenders and commander of the Golden Company has convinced them to attack Westeros and claim the Iron Throne. However, King Aegon V Targaryen has received word of this scheme and plans to send an army to the Stepstones to face this threat before yet another Blackfyre invasion can devastate the realm.
War of the Usurper
After the abduction of Lyanna Stark by Rhaegar Targaryen and the mad king murdering both Rickard and Brandon Stark.. Robert and his friend Ned rebel against the mad king along with their foster father Jon Arryn with the Tully's joining the rebels side sealing the bond in marriage with Catelyn marrying Eddard and Lysa, Jon. Only the Lion is yet to declare sides though a Lannister must not be trusted..
Greyjoy's Rebellion
289 AC: Believing King Robert's rule insecure, Lord Balon Greyjoy of Pyke rises in rebellion against the Iron Throne. Crowned with a driftwood crown beneath Nagga's Ribs, Balon declares himself King of the Iron Islands, King of Salt and Rock, and seeks to restore the Ironborn's ancient traditions lost during Aegon's Conquest.
War of the Five Kings
With the death of Robert Baratheon and the execution of Eddard Stark the realm has erupted into civil war once again.. Robb Stark marches south with an army of northmen demanding the Lannisters pay for their crimes with the Tullys of Riverrun joining the young wolf while in the south Renly Baratheon declares himself King of Westeros and marries Margery Tyrell earning the support of the reach. In the east Stannis Baratheon was gathering sellswords and ships to the Island fortress with plans to claim what is his and to destroy the traitors.. When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.
A Storm of Swords
299 AC: After Renly's death, Stannis took up a large army and smashed them against the walls of King's Landing. But the use of wildfire and tricks gave Tyrion Lannister, 'The Imp', the advantage. The realm sees a lot of changes.
A Feast for Crows
Balon Greyjoy, Robb Stark, Renly Baratheon. With three usurpers dead, and Stannis routed to the wall, the Lannisters hold on the crown appears certain. However, the alliance that holds the throne is tenuous, at best. With weakened armies, and ambition rising around them, war is soon to renew for the Lannisters. Dragon banners have been sighted off Shipbreaker Bay, and Dorne
is stirring. Margaery Tyrell and Cersei Lannister have been seized by the Faith Militant, and the King is but a boy. Lord Petry Baelish has the Vale under his shaky command, and the last known Stark daughter in his grasp. Throughout this all, the winds of winter blow from beyond the wall, and dead things march.
Euron Greyjoy sails on Oldtown, with the strength of the Iron Islands behind him. The supposed son of Rhaegar calls upon Mace Tyrells loyalty to Aerys, while Dorne prepares for war. With the death of both Tywin and Kevin Lannister, the westerlands are in disarray. Ser Jaime has gone missing in the Riverlands, leaving the Rock leaderless. With Tully uprisings, and war brewing in the south, the weakened Lannister armies are spread thin. A choice will soon need to be made to protect the crown, or abandon the capital and defend their home. When the supposed news of King Stannis' death reaches the wall, Queen Selyse offered herself and her only living child to R'hllor. Jon Snow, recently murdered in a mutiny, awoke instead. After the shock of the mutiny, and word from White Harbor of the Onion Knights return, Jon Snow marches an army of wildlings against the Boltons in his brothers name. However, Maege Mormont
carries a will that may shatter the shaky alliance between King Stannis and the newly returned House Stark. The Winds of Winter
Cold winds are rising in the north and the dead are marching upon the wall. Jon snow has been named King in the north by the northern lords and prepares his people for the great war while in the riverlands the freys have been wiped out some say by the gods and Edmure Tully rallies the last of the riverlords to Riverrun. The south has much weakened by the war of the five kings has once again erupted into chaos with the landing of Daeneys Targaryen on the Isle of Dragonstone with lords great and small declaring their fealty to the Lannisters or Targaryens. Will the lords of westeros be able to set aside their petty wars and unite against the night king?

Re: Game of thrones: Fire and Blood [RELEASED SUBMOD]
Awesome work. Would it be possible to do a dance of dragons\ winds of winter submod with stannis and the boltons still in the north. Just as the wildlings unite behind a resurrected jon? that would be an awesome setting.

The mod has many campaigns as custom campaigns.
It just needs to get all the models in, and then after that it will need to be playtested and stability needs to be secured. The point of this mod has become a Game of Thrones: Enhanced mod using a larger map with more campaign choices.

Actually i didn't.
Peaman decided to do this on his own and got VltimaRatio and Clint Eastwood on-board. Then he contacted me and wanted me onboard as well. I am currently busy with HTW but i will be helping with this project further down the road. I think Got: Enhanced has one major flaw and that is unstability in the campaign. The smaller map is also bad - but despite these issues the mod has been getting many thousands of downloads since the last update for it.
18k in 2017 alone, and now they are counting 37k or something - and no update whatsoever since sep 2017. The models and factions do deserve a larger map and a stable mod - with all kinds of campaigns.
I think Peaman do agree with me though that the Westeros 1.0 map would be a better base.

Indeed, the 1.0 map is much nicer. I've ported all the GOT: Enhanced units to the 1.0 mod while removing all the units that mod had.
I still need to add the unit entries to the EDB as I only removed all the old entries and kept 1 as a placeholder for when I go to add the rest of the units to the buildings.
After that I'll look into improving the stability for the mod.

I am not convinced that is the right way to do it. If you are unlucky you'll get all the bugs of 1.0.
I think it would be better to take a clean Geomod and port the map to it and then the units. So no bugs are there from the start. I think there is a risk of 1.0 having lots of problems. It is a bad base. Would be better to use the map but not the mod. In other words start from scratch with the map. But we'll see if the 1.0 or AopK mods are stable first. I won't spend time on something as ctd-friendly as GoT Enhanced.
And both those Westeros mods are using the same base as GoT did.

Re: Game of thrones: Fire and Blood [RELEASED SUBMOD]
To be fair aopk is one of the most stable m2tw mods ive played. If you delete the white walker script. If you can change some of the settlements a bit so it reflects the time of wofk. Like adding in kings landing and harrenhall. Two of the obvious ones. That would probably be your best bet. I personally prefer that map to westeros 1.0 as it is alot bigger and alows for a longer campaign. Thats just my 2 pence anyway.

I'll be able to clean those bugs up when I move to fix the errors.
The WTW 1.0 BMDB was a mess to be honest, there was many duplicate and even triplicate entries which could be causing some of the crashes possibly. I removed all those and replaced them with the GOT units which are correct with no errors.
I think the GOT 4.9 mod crashed so much after battle with the 'fatal graphic errors' because there was over a 100 errors in the BMDB, 96 string count and 8 faction count errors but when I corrected the errors on the fire and blood mod all worked as intended with no crashes.
I could be wrong but I'll playtest a campaign and hopefully there's no fatal graphics error after battles as it almost certainly happened before in the 1.0 mod (at least for me)

True AOPK has the stability and is one of the best westeros mods that's been released but I think the 1.0 mod is just so much better and detailed.
That said we've got a AOPK version of the mod as well that already has all the GOT style units and the timeline changed though I'll be working on the 1.0 version in the dark.
Re: Game of thrones: Fire and Blood [RELEASED SUBMOD]
I think ive had a go with that version on aopk its in the hotseat section? it was very good but it didn't have kings landing and other modern settlements. And the generic region got units like spearmen, pikemen, ect weren't in it, just faction specific units. Have you updated it since then? And it was very stable by the seems

I see - i didn't know of the BMDB errors in neither of those mods. What program are you using to check for errors in the BMDB? I am only using Notepad++ for any editing of code. I'll never use editors so it is hard for me to know the cause of an error/CTD unless i know what i just changed - that is why i test things all the time after i've done changes.
"because there was over a 100 errors in the BMDB, 96 string count and 8 faction count errors"
Did you fix GoT 4.9 in your personal version? Then it should have a re-release with the errors fixed.
I could do some playtetsing myself with the AopK-version that you sent me. However - House Targaryen would need all their GoT units added as that faction is still not using the units by Vltima. I could add them myself - i do remember adding that entire faction easily from GoT to the other mod. You have placed the folders differently and that would make copy/pasting harder but not impossible to work around it. If you want to implement them you can do it - but they really need those GoT models. I did also make most of their basic unit variations in MS3D using textures and one mesh by Vltima. He made a Targaryen Spearmen unit and i did add other variants such as the crossbowmen, bowmen, swordsmen, halberds and pikemen.
Based on your info i am getting hopeful that AopK is actually stable.
- Main reason for using Westeros 1.0 would be that we'd get the custom settlements automatically as they are implemented already.

I personally prefer that map to westeros 1.0 as it is alot bigger and alows for a longer campaign. Thats just my 2 pence anyway.
There was a "War of the Five Kings"-themed mod/map available on moddb as well, a WIP using AopK as a base - it hadn't gone too far in development though. Made by Admiral Thrawn as well. I once thought about using that map but never did start any work on that. I thought it had too many old factions and old text. Peaman has turned the recent version of AopK into a GoT copy when it comes to the faction symbols and their armies - just a few incomplete factions now. The mod does crash if you click on too many symbols after one another in the faction selection screen. You also cannot enter two campaign selection screens without it crashing. Like first clicking on one of the campaigns, exiting out to the menu - and then clicking one of the other campaigns.
It has like four or five WIP campaigns.
All the loading screens etc needs to be ported and i will take care of that. It also is much more ready than the old releases but still not finished. Stannis lacks minor troops, Nights Watch and Wildlings do need strat-models - and House Targaryen needs a replacement of their army.
We might also consider if we want two Targaryen factions (Aegon and Daenarys) or just one (Daenarys). Two could be cool as well. I am convinced Vltima would be happy to create units for Aegon too.

The fact AopK is lacking important settlements close to the wall, and in the Westerlands etc could easily be fixed in Geomod. I do certainly agree the map will need a proper update to fit the timeline. As long as there aren't too many rebels, resources and family members - i could probably add that myself in Geomod. If there are too many things on the map then Geomod might not work. It doesn't work anymore in Warcraft because of that, and removing stuff didn't help because i would get a crash whenever trying to save any progress in Geomod.
I do believe the mod is updated a lot since the version you did play. But still not ready.

I use the 'checkmodeldbsyntax' made by KnightErrant its very handy when it comes to editing the BMDB as it shows the number of processed units and any errors. - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...o=file&id=1180
I haven't actually made the fixes for the GOT version sadly but I think it's probably the cause of the CTD's after battles though I could be wrong.
Yea some playtesting would be nice, Clint recently sent me his desc_strat for the winds of winter custom campaign but he's asked that I tweak the family trees for his setting as they're a bit complex spanning a few generations so when I plan on doing that for him I'll add the targ units etc. I believe joffrey also needs some units though the faction ownership just needs to be added to the units in the EDB/EDU, Stannis also needs 'basic' baratheon troops.
I've finished the work on the EDB for WTW 1.0 and all the units can now be recruited + house units at their relevant settlements. Some play testing on this version is needed also if your up for that, if so I'll send you the WTW 1.0 modded files.

Sure, send it to me and i will test it as well as the other mod.
I am surprised how fast you are porting everything to another mod. I used to be effective in 2016 but the more you mod the more lazy you'd get because it would get tiresome to do the same stuff too much. I remember in the first year it were exciting, while now it is not very exciting until a mod is almost ready.
