No Season indicator

Hi all,
Apologies if this has already been resolved, I noticed from screenshots that I'm supposed to be able to see the season from a box above the minimap, unfortunately no matter what faction I play as this screen is always shown as blank.

Any ideas what might be causing this and how to resolve? I've tried looking through the forum but couldn't find any mention of this specific issue.

had this issue as well. here.
make sure to launch the game using the exe in the mods/ebii forlder

Hi Sarkiss, apologies for the delayed reply, I've tried several things to get this to work but unfortunately whenever I try opening the EB2.exe icon in the folder you mention, I'm prompted with a message that M2TW has encountered a fatal crash and needs to be shut down, the only way I can get the game to run is through the Steam M2TW icon (having changed its path in the Steam app to EB2), might this be the reason why it keeps happening? Is there some way around it?

thats odd. im not using Steam M2TW to launch the EB anymore. in fact, i had to change the path in the Steam from whats recommended to be able to play vanilla Kingdoms campaign (hotseat) because it was launching EB instead. but EB is still launches without issues from that exe inside mods/eb. so this is my way to be able to play both, the mod and vanilla.

check your ebii.cfg file inside mods/eb, find [misc] section, it should be set thus:
[misc]
show_hud_date = 1
display_error_on_exit = 1
#bypass_sprite_script = 1


see if that works
