    Sooo ! I am enjoying the mod, I am in year 1640 in the old campaign, playing as Wallachia. So far I encountered 3 CTDs at random intervals (around 5-7 years in game) and it's always the same. I press End Turn, other factions do their turn and when I am next the game crashes and I get some error. So far I "bypassed" it by reloading and ending turn multiple times, I get the same error for 4-5 times and after that it works like nothing happened. This is the log:

    Seshomaru, log is clear. There is nothing strange. Looks like you copied it after normal game and exit, not just right after crash.

    Is your version of MTW2 1.5(1.05) or higher? Looks like it is 1.4(1.04) and it is not good for stability, because mod was developed on 1.5(1.05) version.

    Hmm, my bad then about the log. Probably I copied it after I started the game again. I tried to redo the crash again now but I got the message with "Great harvest" and it worked normal now.

    About my version, I am not really sure. I have the steam version of M2TW + Kingdoms expansion, so I guess it automatically updates itself to last version ?

    Because there were the mistake in name of "Poor harvest" and it was the reason of crashes in the begining of players turn if random choose those event (as alternative it had to be "great" and "normal" harvest). If you replace this files your campaign wouldn't crash on those moment.

    XtazEnergy, we have used this tool:

    It analyze mod files and than you can save the new version of battle_models.modeldb without garbage. After that I had to re-add all mounts to new file by hands and the game launched. So, if shortly: Unit Editor as first step, and manual finishing as the second step. Also it is useful to read the log.txt file of Unit Editor - a lot of errors are logged there.
    I don't know any tutor links, all we done were improvization. And the power of Unit Editor of course.

    And don't forget to save reserve copies of files that you want to edit!!!

    isa0005, you can try this too. In event of poor harvest was the mistake in name. This event randomly appears periodically, maybe that's your problem too.


    For all: fix 1.31 in header is re-uploaded with new files, links are sames. Who already have downloaded it - you can use the link for Rezorekt above, or download fix 1.31 from first post again and replace files in mod one more time.

    Sorry for my sudden newbie mistakes in translation...

    Rick, also you can dismiss some ships. Most of them are too expensive for beginning of campaign. Or quickly find the enemies fleets and make the enemy weaker and your fleet cheaper during one action

    Hats off! All my respects for your hard work and a big thank you for keeping this alive!

    Edit: One thing I wanted to mention. When I try to start a campaign in the 1550 start, I get kicked back to the campaign selection screen. It's not starting. The 1550 East European one crashes to desktop.

    Warhell, I see the problem. It's interesting, but the same code in russian version launches, and crashes in english. But ok, take the fix:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1AO...GTWORbFBG5L0Ze

    You have to move folder "data" from archive to your "OiM2" folder.
    After that you must delete map.rwm files from "...OiM2\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\1550_Campaign" and "...OiM2\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\1550_Campaign_Eastern_Europe"!

    For all:
    This fix I have added to fix 1.31 in the header - for those who would download mod and fix for the first time.
    Who downloaded mod and tried to launch those campaigns earlier - you have to delete 2 map.rwm files as I write above.

    And I remind that 1550 Campaigns are crude and its author disappeared long time ago, so you are playing at your own risk.

    There is some problem with the translation files downloaded from Mega.nz. My experience was: download and extract the main mod->test it, worked just fine; download translation from Mega->extracted it and the game crashes before entering the main menu. I deleted and entire mod folder and extracted the main mod again, then extracted the translation files from google drive and it works fine.


    Macedonia(FYROM) is Bulgarian. If you don't believe me, read a book.

    I've player as Sweden up to 1623. I had one crash, but reloaded the autosave and played on - saving whenever I think of it. So far, no further crashes. Followed h.fast advice and now have a substantial treasury. Very nice mod.

    A shame that the 1550 campaign can't be fixed. I really wanted to play that time period.
    But i guess it's fine, i always have the first OIM to play.

    DAVIDPIGNO, had you install the 1.31 fix? It looks like not, because of serpentine bug and probably ctd with poor harvest (random event every few turns).

    Fahnat, 1550 campaigns are not normal campaigns now. One man did 'em in haste on base of 1618 campaigns. Units are from 1618 campaign too, except some old (bad) style units as oprichniks. OiM2 is the mod about XVII century in the main. As I said above - the team anounced the 16 century. With quality units and else. But how long would we wait - no one knows.
