Whilst fighting against the northern kingdoms of Poland , it seems the turks had been taking some of venice's far eastern provinces, ever draining their resources , they appealed to silicy [their ally], but they seemed unconcerned , indifferent to venice's suffering. They therefore opened negotiations with the great powers of the north seeking peace, and centering the negotiations around the settlement of Zagreb , which was taken by polish forces.Both northern powers seemed willing to listen and negotiations began , and tension relaxed as both sides withdrew to keep their distance, only to have silicy come into play storming Zagreb , and setting negotiations on edge.

England wanted Sicilian shipping removed from the eastern italian waters, and poland said it was silciy that now held Zagreb , they were still willing for peace, but negotiations for Zagreb would have to be dealt with Sicily.

Knowing that Sicily stands unmoved against venice's southern loses against the turks and seeing the turks army in greece, ignore Sicilian provinces to their north[and the Sicilians ignoring the turks], moving ever westwards towards the illyrian coastline, Venice belief in this joint alliance finally breaks, .....they attack the Sicilian settlement at Sofia , and storm Florence, and destroy all silican shipping in the eastern italian seas, and plead to the northern powers for the peace and security, they seek , so they can fight the greater threat of turkdom in europe. one Sicilian family member is killed on the ship combat, another flees, literally on his own, down the illyrian coastline, taking refugee in a empty fort.

to their previous allies , the silcians, they give them a offer, that if they wish Sofia returned, it will be after the first combat with the turkish forces and the return of Zabgreb to its original venician owners, and Florence will be returned to them, after ten turns after combat has resumed between the silican forces and the turks,for now it is now held hostage, for their good and proper christian behavior.



Likewise, venetian assassins, kill turkish agents ....
