Falcom Total WAr and Windows 10 + Steam Definitive Edition

Dunno what's the problem, but doesn't matter the way I cannot run the Falcon mod.

I have M2TW Steam version (have DVDs as well, but not with me) and am trying to run this mod. I can run it, but cannot start campaign - doesn't matter chosen nation...

Thought that it may be problem with the way it starts, so I used shortcut of Kingdoms (M2TW) launcher and changed it'ss location path. But it didn't help

Tried checking the files of the game. Reinstalled both base and mod... Nothing helps

I use a Steam copy and Falcom still works for me post-Definitive Edition with a Windows 10 PC, so there's probably a solution somewhere.

Just to be sure, you downloaded the non-Chinese thing, right (should overwrite existing mod files)? That's one thing that causes the campaign to crash on startup and there's definitely something messed up with your campaign files.
