So, I'm playing as Rome and I'm making an AAR that is trying to be as historical as possible. I've bribed Hiero of Syracuse, he's now my general. I want to install him as a client ruler of the city and use the client government type. I have given him the trait Client Ruler however, he keeps getting the Interloper trait the next turn. I assume there is a hidden trait or some kind of script triggering that is causing this. Can someone tell me how I can fix this?

You need to also remove the FamilyTracker trait, which is hidden (thus you can't see it on his sheet). For safety, remove the GovernorNativity trait too (again hidden) and the game should then work itself out when you give him the two Client Ruler traits (ClientRuler 2 and Client047).

How did you manage to bribe Hiero? I thought Rebel FMs couldn't be bribed?
