Icon6 This game runs like a champ!!!

I’ve been stuck on RTW for the longest time now, thinking that my weak sauce computer wouldn’t be able to handle TWM2, but I was recently, gratefully, awesomely shown to be wrong.

I can run this baby SMOOTH on Large with medium-high settings (1024x768), testing it on Battle of Hastings HB. Huuuge performance bump from RTW, looks better too and I was able to add some AA (to smooth out jags) while still having smooth frames!

I play on a Surface Pro (2017) btw

iirc rtw and mtw2 have the same base engine. Make sure your turbo boast is on (to get the ghz maxed out) and it should run okay. The engine only uses a single core so the fact the surface is a dual core only doesn't matter. All that matters is the frequency/power of a single core. For better performance assign it to the core not running windows background process via task manager if that is possible on the surface.

Yeah I’m aware of those tricks but even then, M2TW just runs better tbh

If you have any modding skills you may want to replace some of the vanilla models with those.
