CTD on AI turn

Hi, I just had a CTD playing as Pahlava faction on AI turn, and need some help solving it.

Can you also use the toggle_fow, follow the AI movement and do a print screen at the problem?

Did it repeat? Given the size of it and that your session was over 2 hours long, I'd suspect your memory just filled up.

do you mean that you can not play longer then 2 hours in one time?well sometimes i do but i known this is not so good lol.

Being an old game, it doesn't purge itself from memory, so it balloons up in size as your session goes on (especially if you have trace enabled in the logs). So yes, you should save, quit and restart every 2 hours to clear out the memory. Battles cause a big spike in memory usage, so if you're running lots of them, even the 2-hour rule may be insufficient.

And don't run the game with trace enabled in normal circumstances (that's only when diagnosing errors).

ok thank you for this info,seems very usefull,i always leave the trace on,i will put it off now.

The crash didn't repeat itself, which implies that it was memory leak crash...
So, I guess it's case closed for now
