I would like to ask everyone, if you, players would be alright with adding a new rule, that you can only win a naval combat, if the odds are 1:2 or higher. in the attackers favour.
The reasoning is, that achieving really good naval victories in outnumbered situations are common and not that hard to achieve, this also makes, that a small fleet of 3-4 even 5 ships sometimes can be defeated by just one ship. Moreover because this is a manual hotseat, earning important victories are more essential, as you need to use less land units to achieve victory in a battle and controlling the seas in this mod, gives a really big advantage.
I will be waiting your opinions.

Yes please! Being a victim of that, I found it ludicrous that Redstar, with 1 ship, killed 4 of mine. I'm strongly for this rule change, though I fear it might be too late for me

Yes I agree. I wish we addressed it a bit sooner, as we may have been able to reverse that battle against you Athelstan.. I suppose better late than never?

The Eastern Frankish Empire has spilled a lot of blood in its attempt to reunite Charlemagne's empire and the Kingdom of Wessex has tried to step in and take our most valuable prize, the city of Paris. Thus we had no other choice but to lift this siege because if we didn't, the war we have been fighting and the kin we have lost would have been for nothing. We had no wish to declare war upon you, but your attempt to enter into our sphere of influence, when you had plenty of land in England to expand to, has made this conflict inevitable.

It seems the majority agreed on the rule, will it be implemented this turn?
With the majority agreeing, the rule is in effect from now on. I will update the first post.
