How to see ZOC for your faction?

I am trying to develop a blocking position; a combination of terrain and forts. Other faction ZOCs (zone of control) show up as brown splotches on campaign map, but how do you know what ZOC your own faction units create?

If you click on your fort it will show a green square around it like this

But it's ZOC is bigger than that? It is the brown foot print another faction would see?
