How do you let the AI play a campaign
I want to test a mod Im making that makes the AI use better armies but I dont want to have to play a full campaign to do it, I'd rather let the AI play the whole campaign without me involved. How do I do this?

there's a command for the cpu to control the campain but i can't remember it
you'll have to search through the rtw command line threads to find it (doubt it would be on the mtw2 section yet).

Could anyone link me to such a place where it would be?

Re: How do you let the AI play a campaign
First, make sure the multiplayer of your .cfg file looks like this:
[multiplayer]
playable = true
hotseat_turns = true
hotseat_scroll = false
hotseat_autoresolve_battles = 0
hotseat_disable_console = 0
hotseat_disable_papal_elections = 0
hotseat_save_prefs = 0
hotseat_update_ai_camera = 0
hotseat_validate_diplomacy = 1
Then go to the campaign screen and make sure only 1 faction symbol is selected at the top. Load the campaign, open the console and type:
control timurids
control (faction you chose to play the campaign as)
The game will then autorun as the Timurids have not emerged yet. You can step in at any time and type:
control faction name
and you will control that faction the next time their turn is around.

or, easier, go to your link on the desktop, rightclick and go to Properties, go to the command line, and add ´-ai´ at the end. now, if you start a campaign, the AI will play every faction. exit the game and delete ´-ai´ to play normally again.

I add saxons into the desc_strat as a dead until resurrected, and have no emergant trigger, that way you can control them in hotseat mode, and you can self test without effecting the balance. and can see all the active factions in action, I have used this to test my lastest project to over 800 turns
