Help with resolutions

I used to play on fullscreen mode but now with crashes happening on the fullscreen version and not the windowed mode i've had to switch. But the thing is in full screen mode I used to play on 1024x768 and it used to fill the middle of the screen with black bars only on the sides (I didn't like 1920x1080 because it stretched the screen). But now i've been forced to use windowed mode when I boot up the game in 1024x768 it only fills about a third of my screen in the top left only. And again booting up in 1920x1080 looks nasty, is there anyway I can get windowless 1024x768 that looks like it was in the fullscreen version?

You need to edit the respect lines in the EBII.cfg, or more likely your medieval2.preferences.cfg, since you'll have the same issue with every mod you play.
