Thread: More aggressive risky AI?

    Default More aggressive risky AI?

Hi. Using the pack editor, which file do I need to change to prevent AI from hoarding armies at their base and never using them for an assault? I'm guessing it is in campaign AI personality junctions, but can't figure out which one to change =/ I want suicidal AI

It is not simple. They are doing that to avoid doing something dumber. But it can be improved.
Vanilla is usually not like that on hard so I suggest another mod.
Follow the modders on Steam who have evidence of some kind of mastery over the material.
I nominate my own mod here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...?id=1526012774

Or maybe try to explain how to change this...rather than offering a mod, as sometimes other effects are added that are not wanted.

cai_task_management_system_task_generator_groups_generators_junctions to set the AI priorities
cai_personalities_budget_allocations to set how much they spend on military (Should add up to 100% across navy, military agents etc)
cai_personalities where you set what task group and budget policies each AI personality has
    AE Dev, mainly units

    army_destruction_alliance_strength_ratio 0.0800
    army_destruction_enemy_strength_ratio 0.3000
    army_destruction_friend_strength_vs_enemy_strength_ratio 0.6000

This here, in kv_morale, will offer some risky behavior. The Ai will take more chances and attacks aggressively even if outnumbered, careful it will try some shyt.

Looked around forever before figuring it out.
