How to install with steam on mac

Hello

I was given med2 as gift on steam, and am using my hubbys macair to play it (runs medium/high). According to the installation notes on this forum I need, from what I understand, this "wine" version of med2 to play eb2?

I just boot up the feral version on steam and it works perfectly. But there is no mention of how to install the steam mac version, is it the same? Need I not worry? May I bash some roman skulls in the near future? Tired of vanillalife.

All help would be appreciated, this mod looks baller.

I don't know jack about Macs or Steam, but this post talks about both of them. Be sure to follow ALL the instructions with regard to the Mac stuff especially. As for Wine, apparently it's a 3rd party utility that's required to run both the installer (an .exe file) and the launcher.bat (which starts the mod after it's been installed)
