    Star Destroyer

    Hi to everyone,

    I am a big fan of ETW, during all these years I have played it with MANY different mods. But to be honest, I found Imperial Destroyer + VDM to be the best combination, I mean the scope of changes are overwhelming.
    So big thanks to all those who participated in making these great mods.

    But, there are few things that bothered me and I thought why not modify it to further enhance the game-play.

    I ended up with this submod, and I thought it will be nice to share it with all those who love this great game.

    Changes:

    - Grenadiers can throw grenades, Dah! Though you have to research 'improved grenades' first.
    - Rockets are back.
    - Islamic nations have some different technologies.
    - Victory conditions modified, no need to conquer all 144 regions! I mean it'll be nice to have some friends left to celebrate your victory
    - Forts are enabled (which is good since we have a short range of campaign movement).
    - Fire by rank and fire and advance are enabled (correctly I hope! ).
    - Starting treasury now is 25000 for all.
    - Ammo is limited again (1000 was a bit too much!!) now its more logical, starting from 15 for rabbles up to 40 for elite units. (Now as in history, you shoot then you charge).
    - Camel gunners now shot the proper Zamburak shot.
    - I don't know, maybe few other things here and there too!

    I hope you find it interesting.
    And I hope I loaded all the files needed

    Installation:

    - Download file from:

    - Unzip the submod rar file, then copy content to data folder.
    - Add 'mod Star_Lord.pack;' to your user.empire_script file.
    - It might be necessary to use VDM mod too, since the localization file refer to it!? Anyhow if you don't please try it, it is really good

    Hi Guys,

    I'm so sorry, I had the feeling I uploaded a wrong file
    The VDM mode was not uploading because I modified the fort script,
    I fixed that.

    it doesn't work without VDM... thats suck coz VDM laggs game like hell ... :/

    Hello. I was wondering if you have unlocked ships and building-slots for minor factions in this submod? Starting a game in regular ID as Moldova, for example, I don't get the starting tech. to enable ship building and can't construct most buildings in my minor capitol province.

    vdm doesnt work anymore when i installed you submod..it seems to somehow overwrite the vdm as if i didnt have it installed




    EDIT:
    it works now..i didnt know i have to restart the vdm script bat form time to time
    thx alot for this submod! i coulnt play without it anymore to be honest^^

    Pretty good submod besides the fact that units run a tad bit too fast. The native bowmen are like chickens with their heads cut off lol

    Anyway you can re-do the submod for the vanilla unit speed?
