EB 2.3 constant crash before or after battles

I recently returned home from a long vacation and was already longing for months to play the latest EB. The game looks great, the only (major) downside is I'm barely able to fight battles. I'm only 2 turns in my epirus campaign and had to restart the game 4 times in order to take Sparta, 3 times for a fight near Athens and when Macedon attacks Pella the game crashes everytime. This severely hampers the enjoyability of the game. I am using a different computer now than i used to with the previous versions, so maybe that is the problem. Everytime i get a "fatal graphics error" but with the new laptop this can hardly be the problem.

Fortunately, this is a relatively easy fix. You are running the v1.04 version of Kingdoms and need to upgrade to v1.05:
