BUG - Way Too Many Consuls and Praetors
OK, so I've been playing a Romani Campaign in 2.3 up to 218 BC.
This is what I get: I've devised a system where most of my Generals stay in Rome when they need to get up the Cursus Honorum, because they're much better off with Imperium and all the other positive traits. So I let them stay in Rome, then when they get elected I put them in the provinces up until the next batch of eligible traits come - so I effectively rotate them.
However, I noticed that leaving way too many eligible candidates *in Rome* will get a glitch. That's when 3-5 Consuls will get elected at the same time (in my current turn it's 5 Consuls) and a similar number of Praetors.
I've also had that happen once with Aediles. If I'm not mistaken, there were 4 aediles max.
Now we know that in Ancient Rome, there were only two consuls and two praetors per year. So yeah, reporting bug.
"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."
