Can't run installer. [SOLVED]
Well I didn't get very far. Following the instructions on the patreon page, I downloaded the installer (GEMFXSteamInstaller.zip). Unzipped it, but when I tried running it, I get a pop-up saying that "PfmCL has stopped working" and I'm stopped in my tracks.
EDIT: Nevermind. This was my own fault. Apologies.

Re: Can't run installer.
Figured out what I did wrong. You don't run it until after you subscribe.
My GOD this mod is glorious to look at....

Are you able to play Rome II with GEM and the latest update?

Re: Can't run installer. [SOLVED]
I am, yes. I seem to have this habit where the moment after I ask for help, I seem to figure out what I did wrong. The instructions on the steam page are not correct (it tells you to run the installer twice, once before you subscribe which will not work), but they are correct on the patreon page.
Are some people having a problem running it with the latest patch?
EDIT: The only problem I did have with GEM lately was that my preset settings were showing up in the variant editor window, and in a very weird way which made it difficult to see what I was working on. I actually unsubscribed to GEM temporarily until I finish work on this custom unit mod as I didn't want to bother with trouble-shooting.

Re: Can't run installer. [SOLVED]
I can't play GEM despite I have not ticked the new graphical options that Rome II offers.

Oh, jeez. Man, I wish I was more technically inclined. So does it crash or are you not seeing the effects since the latest patch....?

Re: Can't run installer. [SOLVED]
It just crashes at launch.
