Can Macedon leave Pyrrhus alone until he passes away

I understand Macedon need to kill Pyrrhus before acrtivating reform. But what if I just leave him be until he passes away from old age? Would his passing satisfy Macedonian reform requirement nevertheless? I kind of like him wanna keep him in game, and also he never parted way with his initial stack and just sat there....

Im pretty sure that yeah, you can wait for him to simply die of old age. The reform is inhibited by him being alive--killing him yourself isn't necessary AFAIK.
