LAN/Hamachi does not work

My friend and I are trying to connect to each other to play a LAN game using the program Hamachi. This program simulates a LAN over the internet. I really dislike Gamespy, thus the use of Hamachi.

The only problem is that, even though we are connected over the LAN, we don't see each other in the lobby. We both have version 1.1. Neither of us is using firewalls, and Company of Heroes works just fine over the Hamachi LAN. Can anyone make any suggestions as to what could be going on?

Figure out how to put your computer in the DMZ, if you can. I don't have a firewall but often must do that to play games over a direct tcp/ip connection. Just be sure to get out of the DMZ when you're done playing or be ready to learn how to add a cumulative total of 50 feet to your wang

Don´t no the exact conf. problem, but maybe you forgot to edit medieval2.preference.cfg? You have to put you Hamachi IP under category [network] use_ip = x.x.x.x /C22.

Me and my friend are trying to do the same thing, we can see each other in the lobby but when one of us makes a game the other cant join. We already changed the ips to the ones of our hamachi ips but its still not working.
