And so the world could finally let out a great sigh of relief. The great dragons of the north, that came to claim the riches of Middle Earth have been all killed and hunted down to the last of their kin. The caves and forgotten dwarven halls, they took as nests have been plundered and destroyed. The riches they managed to get so far, have been relieved by the many races, that took up the courage and brought the fight to them. (Beornings got 20k gold for destroying the last Dragon nest, but they got that money in the previous turn.)
Despite the great threat from the North, Sauron's influence also endangered the free people of Middle Earth and his servants were unleashed, while he rebuilt his seat of power within Mordor. However his servants failed or decided to take their lives in to their own hands. The Orcs of the Misty Mountains decided to free themselves of Sauron's influence and declared their independence, chasing off all the remaining loyal forces of the Dark Lord in the mountain and maintain a peacful, neutral stance to their neighbors of Elves and men, while staying within the boundaries of their mountains. The evil men of the east, staunch followers of Sauron also failed in their endeavour and have been utterly defeated by the forces of Dale and the dwarves. With the Dragons removed and with the servants of Sauron's failure the Dark Lord now stands on his own, however he gathered much of his power within Mordor and his numerous armies are ready behind the black walls.
At this status quo comes Gandalf and Elrond from the west with a call to arms for all free people of Middle Earth! The Dark Lord must be defeated and to achieve it the remaining good races must unite together to create the greatest alliance of the Good forces and to defeat Sauron and destroy his seat of power once and for all!
The remaining elven kingdoms, factions of men and dwarven clans must decide, if they can set aside their differences and join together to oppose the Dark Lord, or will they refuse and decide to make their own destiny one way or another, for the temptation is always a present threat to the mortal races.
(In terms for this hotseat everyone decide, do you wish to unite yourself with others to remove Sauron or you want nothing with the other factions and you will decide on your own, what you want to achieve. And yes, that means you have to conform how you decide within this hotseat thread. Not saying anything/being passive means otherwise I will take some degree of control for your factions future.)
