[Dagor Silmarillion - Third Age] Dagor Ennor - War of the Dragons

The first time I opened this mod (_beleriand.bat, it was set as default) I didn't have any problems. Today I tried to switch to _third age.bat and after loading the save, an error apeared. I switched to _beleriand.bat launching first the swapper, and it too is bugged now. Now the mod launches after clicking the swapper alone, ofc still with error. Any ideas? I can try repacking the mod again, but did anyone else have similar problems?

Others mentioned a problem aswell and while I don't remember doing any significant modification after Jadli uploaded the mod folder. Anyway with themzr I found a way which seems fixed the problem. Everyone download this folder first. Unzip/unrar it somewhere.
Then put the descr_regions and descr_strat into data/world/maps/campaign/custom/TA_campaign folder. After it put descr_character, descr_sm factions, export_descr_unit and export_descr building to data/third_Age/data then the rest just into the main data folder the campaign_db and the settlement_mechanics. After you are done load the 3rd_age bat file swapper then try launching the game and the starting save. This should make it work.

You didn't mention this file: descr_sm_factions_DS. That goes into the main data folder?

You can put it there, but I don't think it is necessary, because I believe that was made to be a template by the mod creator and the game uses the descr_sm_factions file.

Alright with the setbacks and because I made a minor mistake and turns out Jadli aswell, we reuploaded the full folder of my of Dagor Silmarillion. Now Downloading this should not cause anymore problem and should work for this and for Jadli's RP hotseat. Now with the small changes the save have to be restarted. Everyone please download this folder and just unzip/unrar it to your mods folder. Launch the 3rd_age file swapper and good to go. The cfg is also modified so it won't be in windowed mode.

Another small thing is diplomats have been tweeked that now bribing consist way less reloading as the chance for bribery attempt has been upped close to the maximum. This means if you ask for a bribe and you have enough money you should get the bribe successfull. This change doesn't lower the cost of bribing only increased the chance of happening it.

Where can I switch windowed mode to off?

I was quiet sure I modified the cfg file to not be windowed, but seems I somehow failed at that. For everyone that wishes to change it do the following.
In the cfg file, you look up the line windowed = true and change the true to false and save it. That will fix it.

Can you upload the descr_strat file which you used to create this hotseat? I feel like I can't adequately play my first few moves unless I can see the starting position of forces. It looks like a lot was changed from the default descr_strat.

You can see each others starting position by the starting save. As for the forts, because everyone keeps asking me you can defeat the forts with the 1 drake units inside easily. Atleast 3 units is plentifully enough.

I don't want to reveal things, that is why Brood of Ancalagon is the first in turn order.

Okay, then how do I determine whether it's safe to siege a fort with 2 troll units inside (and how many units I need)? I haven't been able to create a hotseat test game with multiplayer commands enabled. And I can't get the rebel units to actually move inside the forts (they are practically frozen in place it seems).

Edit - nvm, the forts have dragons, not trolls. My mistake.

I'd really want to have a starting save, too. I don't care about Ancalagon's 1st turn. You could give us a save without doing that faction's 1st turn. I'd like to be able to check things out, movement ranges of troops with/without generals, in/out of forts, etc. Especially that the movement distances have been changed and some settlements are almost within 1 turns march.
