Welcome to our 2nd DEI Picture Competition.

2nd DEI Picture Competition - Submission Rules

• Submissions must be from either the campaign map or the battle map of DEI for Rome 2 and must have been taken by you.
• Submissions may be unedited (normal) screenshots or edited screenshots. Edited refers to the use of software which modifies the graphical quality of the game for example lighting mods, Gem, Sweet FX-Reshade, Photoshop.
• A submission may only be submitted once. It cannot be entered in multiple competitions, or resubmitted in a later competition.
• Invalid submissions such as animations, videos, renders, loading screens, cutscenes, or screenshots not taken by you will be removed.
• Edited submissions should be accompanied with the unedited original screenshot in 'spoiler' tags however this is not compulsory.
• In addition, it would be appreciated if you supported modders by mentioning what mods or submods were used in your submission.

From memory, the mods used were: AAA Generals mod by Benjin! Return to glory (animations mod), A bunch of the mods in the HD series including HD armours et cetera, Rivers of blood (Realistic edition) and Sights of war. There are probably a few more that I might be forgetting, but these are the important ones.

Edit: I also used GEMFX!

Made using a heavily edited version of the Ad Finitum preset, GEM, all of Celticus's flora/texture mods, Extended Dust, the new beta with its fancy lighting, and a lot of Hellenic tears. I already have the DLC, but I wanted to submit an entry anyways.

Maybe not as HD as the other pics, but it's got a good story behind it.

Ligurians stabbed me (Rome) in the back as I was occupied with war in Greece. A hastily cobbled together relief force was able to drive them away, but not decisively. After finishing off the Greeks, though, my most decorated general returned to Italia to deal with these barbarians, and the above is the result. The Ligurians were defeated and hence their people subjugated and made loyal subjects of Rome, simply one of the stepping stones on the great nation's path to glory.
