    Default Entering territories

Hi, I installed RTRPE 1.6, RTRPE 1.7 and the revolt CTD patch yesterday. I started a new campaign with Bactria and moved my armies northwest to try and occupy a Sakha rebel settlement. But my spy and my armies cannot move into their territory. I allied with Parthia and cannot move into their territory either. What's going on? I am used to playing vanilla RTW.
    Thanks

That is a landblock. There is also one in place between Carthage and Egypt.
The one north of Bactria is meant to stop the bactrians (when controlled by the AI) to move unhistorically north where there are also few money to be gained and concentrate on the seleucids as it should. Without that landblock in place the bactrians always expanded north creating a huge but poor empire.
Both land blocks can be removed by installing the add-on for this. It is in the Optional add-ons pack. Not sure if the links are still valid though.

Thanks. If it is poor up there I might just expand east to the edge of the map, then south to India, to prepare for taking on the seleucids. Thanks again

Well I was going to expand east, but not when the rebel cities have half stacks, stone walls and 3 units of indian elephants. Looks like I'll be going after the seleucids then....

Try to box in the Indian cities so the seleucids cannot get them and you can conquer them later (the rebels won´t attack your cities, or better very very rarely). Also try to quickly expand to Susa, it is a good position blocking the Seleucid access into your homeland, and you can retrain elephants there. Bactria is fun .

Not had much trouble from the Seleucids so far, I've taken 3 towns, and should be taking the one on the coast now. I'm starting to make quite a bit of profit from mining, have 20k in the bank. I've mainly kept with the starting infantry I got, and trained more archers. Do you think I should start training more horse archers and cataphracts now I can afford it? Any more tips would be useful, thanks
