While the Balrogs delivered a mighty blow againts the forces of Gondolin, their Kingdom remained invisible to the eyes of Melkor and his servants. However the man of House Haldad weren't that lucky. The Mighty Glaurung, father of all Dragons was slightly annoyed that he couldn't get any taste of that sweet elven blood the Balrogs got before him, so he laid his eyes on the humans, that were trying to run back to their forest kingdom. High Lord Halmir just barely managed to gather around his remaining men, when Glaurung ambushed him with his vast swarm of children. Halmir gave the order for everyone to form into defensive stances, however before he could himself move to a better position Glaurung stomped into the middle of the battlefield and with his Dragon magic he gazed into Halmir's eye, chaining him and his spirit in his body completely, so that he couldn't even move any of his muscules.

"Little human you are bound to my will and power, however you will be the last one to die, so that before your death, you can see how your soldiers falls before my children and how your inferior "house" die out while I enjoy your suffering." - uttered Glaurung with evil laughter mixed into it in the end.

Halmir tried with all of his mental strenght to free himself, but Glaurung's power were far above his and so he was forced to see, how his men were slaughtered down like some cattle. Then by a mental order from Glaurung turned Halmir, so that he could see, how those that tried to run away to the nearby wooden outpost and its small defenders lead by would-be-chieftain Handir, that came out to help, were run down in mere minutes. In his last moments Halmir all he could think of in his great sorrows were for his men and for his sons, before Glaurung fire breaths incinerated him to ashes.

In the Blue Mountains the Drakes were pushing forward with increadible speed. The lightly defended elven Helevorn was overrun in mere minutes, while for the dwarven Halls a great battle went down within the depths of the mountain. However while the dwarves valiantly held their ground to the last man, there were far too many dragons and drakes for them to deal with and one of their Great Hall was overtaken and even the reinforcement armies were forced to fall back deeper in the caverns.

Down South in the Dark Forest, the elves putting much pressure on to rout all of Melkor's evil from the forests, however while the result is slowly unfolding, as long as there remains a presence of the Dark Lord, the creatures of the night will bread and terrorize the lands around. Another strike happened againts the Avari elves forcing their High Chieftain to retreat back to his closest settlement and by Melkor's order the last great horde of wolves now surrounding the fair city of Lindon preparing for an all or nothing final push.

Morgoth's highest ranking captain, Sauron, has been KILLED! No more shall this dispicable creature trouble the lands of the living, or so Fingon thought at the time. An assault, led by Fingon and his captains, took place during the night when the Elves attacked and retaken their stronghold, Barad Eithel. Feeling very pleased with the war, Sauron took no heed of the looming threat of the Elven army. Maybe he thought the Elves would wait for their allies of the House of Marach, but Fingon knew the strenght of his troops and grasped the chance with both hands, so to speak. Soon after Hurin and his folks came and saw the wreckage. They were impressed to say the least. Even though the war seems lost, Fingon was mighty pleased to at least have this little revenge!

The Final hope for Maedhros has vanished. His main force has been shattered, and his allies have fled. The final battle will be a swift one, as the Balrogs and Orcs will descent upon them in a battle of fire and wrath. He will never defeat the Dark Foe, and he will never fulfill his father's oath. He can only hope his life, and all lives of his fellow elves, be doomed well in the Halls of Mandos.
The Drakes and broodlings have taken Helevorn and colonised it. It is only a matter of time before they move onwards and consume more of the land. Not even house Bór can defend these regions, death awaits.

Ignorant of the death and destruction that was being waged by the men, elfves and dwarfs that struggled to face the power of morgoth , as he pushed against the forces of the free peoples, in the northwest and northeast, two minor elven forces came together to push the boundaries of the free peoples. Long had the elfves of doriath been attacked on their southern borders and here they pushed against their fates, and attacked back, striking at the men of the village of Ramdal.

Here the two forces of elfves, one damaged from pushing back against the evil creatures of shadow, and another , brave and willing to help from Nagathrond attacked the village of men, first sending light footed elven warriors who pelted the villagers with javelins and other missiles provoking them , reminding them of their mortality , with every blow that killed another mortal man. Soon the men, had enough of such provocation and marched from the village away from the buildings, only to be struck from elven bow fire from both Doriath&Nagathrond troops. Such fire was very precise , as men were targeted from elven eyes, with the accuracy of bowmen, who trained from years with their specially tailored bows.

Hundreds fell , as the men, screamed their hate, waving axes and lifting wooden shields blocking shafts after shaft, as they closed the distance between the eflven forces and their own, as slowly the human force was hamstrung, and bleed troops as they moved forward,as those shot fell away. Soon they came within charge range, and formidable elven warriors clad in leaf chain mail moved forward, with great blades, and the archers dropped back through the ranks, gliding briefly by the own colleagues before unleashing another few arrow volleys from the safety , behind great lines of elven warriors who became their shield.

[yeah i know the quenya are effectively the noldor but give me a break[winks] as this was a great piece of music ]

The horde of men, noticeably smaller as they clumped closer together , banging their axes against their own shields, making a drumming sound that got faster and faster as they approached they elfven lines, as the elven forces lifted their heavy weapons in response ready to take the blow of the charge of men. The men smashed into the elven line , and in most areas, the elves held, their advanced training and weapons giving them a massive advantage, here and their elves died, struck down or with limbs hacked away, falling onto the field, but the impetus of the charge was in vein, as the elfven numbers by now, were greater than the men, who had been driven smaller by elven firepower, and the two wings of the elven fighting men, swiftly footed, moved inwards , wrapping around the small force of men, from both flanks . Elven blades were whipped around here and there, gleaming evilly in the days light and from those on the smothering flanks that were moving their weapons in unity, as the weapons rose and fell, and men, dropped to the floor, as if they were just mere wheat being cut from the fields...

The end, came soon, from the men, their numbers devastated from elven missile and bowfire, and then whittled down from elven warriors upclose in close combat, but still there had been casualties, perhaps more than was hoped, as the elves rounded up the survivors taking control of the southern reaches of the doriath forest.

The question remained of what to do with such men in this settlement, as the elfves of doriath and nagrathrond did'nt seek domination over their neighbors, merely security from forces from the shadow, that ever breached this area, to mount attacks on the elven lands to the north and west. To show the men, [those that survived] the benefits of the elves, they began to build [and direct the men] to build walls to give the village the security, perhaps they should have had, but these men, were not the high men of skill and learning, but the ancestors of the lesser men , that lived in the east, and they would have to relearn what skills they had lost, as the elves bent them to their will...

    Gondolin up! http://www.mediafire.com/file/4wh88t...in_18.sav/file

After a massive defeat to House Haldad of Brethil and Falathrim army led by High Lord Círdan, there is no hope for people of Brethil... Mighty Dragon Glaurung with all his might has entered Brethil, and there sis no force to stop him.... Thus Haldir, the lord of House Haldad, is ordering everyone who can to escape south... Meanwhile, further northwest, High Lord Círdan sees the futility of the cause and if he manages to retreat back to the sea without being killed, he would pledge himself to sail to the west to beg The Valar for help, as otherwise none of Noldot, Sindar or Edain would survive...

Nargothrond and the House of Bëor

Fire and death, were the reports that came to Nargothrond from the north. The armies of the Eldar and Edain defeated and broken. Treachery of the House of Ulfang. Glaurung the Dragon unleashed in Brethil. Dire tidings. The remnants of the House of Bëor had seen it all before when Dorthonion fell. There were still stout and brave men of that House ready to fight and they gathered in the forests of Brethil, ready to stand side by side by the Haldadians who now faced the very same fire that had consumed the northlands. There was not much hope in victory, but fight they would nonetheless.

In the south Nargothrond forces continued their march into Taur-im-Duinath, reaching a massive hive of the monsters that lived within the forest. The Elves would destroy this haven of monstrosities once and for all.

JC once said he would play but didnt, so subbed, Laegrim up! http://www.mediafire.com/file/l77uon...im_18.sav/file

After hearing of terrible defeat to Lord Frar by demon dragons of the north, all dwarves are gathering to defend Belegost mountain, the capital of dwarves of Belegost, and as well to defend the valley between Nogrod and Belegost, as should they fail to defend, the dragons would be able to descend froom the mountains to the lands of Laegrim and Eastrons, and bring even more death....

Lindon was unde seige.... the situation did look good...

Last turn all the troops were orders to march towards Lindon, and one of the city had public unrest that damaged several buildings... due to a lack of any garrison troops
    https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/410203619380690967/699336863374246038/image0.jpg?width=460&height=613

A Elven general, was coming from the north with a small part of warriors since the elves spottened the huge evil host. It came in time to, with the defenders sally out, but they were not enough....

    As the battle went on

The garrison and army from Calen marched towards Lindon, bypassing the evil forces, and joinning up the battle.
    https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/410203619380690967/699336820789346304/image0.jpg?width=996&height=613

With this new reinforcements, Lindon was able to be saved and the battle won!
    https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/410203619380690967/699336815865495572/image0.jpg?width=762&height=613

But there was a high cost, not only did several elves died, but so did the Elven King... died defending the city.... (you guys have no idea how many time si had to reload to actually win the battle AND have him die for roleplay purposes lol)

The heir, now King, was too weak, and he send his general and the garrison healthy enough to fight, to go and attack the Evil forces still in the land that the turn before attacked him and his late father.

A man of the hour appeared and was granted the title of general due to killing the enemy geenral

Havent been spent, the elves knew that one of the ruins they took a few turns ago, now under siege by the evil forces, would fall, as help could not arrive... nor the the elves planed to attack next turn, as after two battle they were already spent and needed to go inside the cities to heal instead of going on the march... yet whatever ruined cities the evil foces take they will retake eventually.

In the deep forest, the elven general, now named heir, took another city, as it cleaned the evil from the forest and actally took a good amount of gold. His forces are running low, but one city in the forest still remains up north he will want to take before calling it a rest.

In the diplomatic situation, the new High King, is pissed at the Dwarves, both houses had armies marching to aid Lindon, and while they trufully claimed they could not reach in time for the battle, the fact they went elsewhere to protect their lands, did upset the New King, whom just lost his father. He will not soon feel kind towards the Dwarves for what ended up being 0 help to defeat the overwhelming forces of evil in the land.

The elves now plan to finish securing ther borders, and heal. Every army is spent, units need replenish (even a building is being contructed to lower replenish cost by 20%), and they will focus more in going back to health.

The fall of Lindon could mean the fall of the Elves in this region, and saving it was crucial. It is now a mater of figuring out how many evil forces still remaidn in that area and if the few elves still willing to fight can defeat it.

As soon as Morgoth found out Sauron let himself get destroyed, he was outraged at his lieutenants arrogance and foolishness. This was not a large loss but Morgoth took it as an insult personally as Sauron was his personal representative.
No matter....soon men and elves in the west would feel the full wrath of Angband.

In the east Maedhros and his forces were finally destroyed after being chased by the two armies of orcs from Himring. Now the gates laid open to the south.

I will post my RP tomorrow afternoon. I have a bunch of stuff and uni stuff to do right now.

The Drakes are pushing forward in the Mountains:
    https://imgur.com/1m1kV6G

Took back a cave, with the Raugdaur:
    https://imgur.com/wocalLy

Lastly House Ulfang following now Melkor, attacked the Kingdom of Laegrim:
    https://imgur.com/DVxqwgF

    EDIT:
With their ongoing onslaught the Dragons pushed further and further back the dwarves in the Blue Mountains, while also already sending new swarms into the nearby lands and wreaking havoc and destruction on House Bór's farmlands. Glaurung on his part decided to rest a bit before crushing the remnants of the forces of light and striking deep into the lands of Beleriand.

The Raugdaur's day of their last stand is closing upon, as the elves are pushing them out of the Dark Forests in the south. However their power and numbers are steadily going down, the Dark Lord commands give no rest to these creatures and they will fight until their last breed is dead.

With the Siege of Angband broken and the elves pushed back monumentally, House Ulfangs men listened to the Dark Lords reasoning and promises. Always somewhat jealous of the richess the elves possessed and the houses of men, that also received elven blessings and gifts. However no more will Ulfang stay in their place. Now with joined to the Dark Lord forces, they will conquer all the riches and lands, they even dreamed off and their first major attack now were aimmed towards the Kingdom of Laegrim, weakening their presence evermore.

The last of the forces of House Bór have been cut down. Their strength is no more.

The House of Fëanor is still alive in the brothers still breathing, hiding in the valley with the last host of their house.

They wait for their doom, or they wait for a miracle. The times when it was unclear where to travel are gone. The times when no step was pointing to the wrong direction are gone. The lands are no longer fair and free. No one walks anymore, no one leaves. The only comfort The Elves and Men here hold is each other, and that is something they would never give up.
If this turmoil ever passes, if the people shall walk free again, hunt again and explore again, then shall it be known that they are truly blessed. Even when it seems hopeless, it is not lost. Arda will be free again, and the day it happens will be a glorious day, an end of an age!

The elfs of Doriath are deep in sadness at the loss of life to the northwest to the northeast as thousands of dwarfs equally perish and melancholic songs echo around the forest, news of Ramdal has been given away to the elfs of Nagathrond, as the elfs make to reform a new army to prepare against the darkness that surrounds the forest of the elfs of Thingol.

The leaves of the forest, sway in turn with the elven songs of sadness, in the last of the noon days light as it sinks beneath the skyline, and the singing continues into the night, as such death has visited the first born and others, bringing the near domination of the hand of morgorth over the peoples of Beleriand.

    Falathrim

Darkness surrounds Doriath, Cirdan flees back to Falathrim, in his wisdom the only option is to send a private envoy to the Valinor, asking for their help to save the Elves. As he looks over his shoulder he can see Glaurang and Mal (Balrog), heading south into Doriath, the men of Haldad falling as their first victims.
