Little happening of note in the following season, plans where a foot to strike out the orc base south of Gondolin or even the eastern spider-borrow but both had been reinforced, making a assault impossible to succeed, causing any outside doriath armies to withdraw back into the forest, readying and regrouping for the following seasons .

Enemy armies continued apace to reinforce , nearing 2 balrog armies and 2 orc fully commanded armies to the north of brethil forest, and Thingol with most of his advisors knew the attack would come soon, as the shadow from the north, was eager to regain what it had lost , just as it did on the dwarfven front at Belegost.



So the elves, danced and sang, whilst they worked away preparing more weapons , arrows, armour and training new troops for the upcoming struggle which if not conducted well might well leave the forest of Doriath surrounded on three sides, as the armies of the shadow from the north grew larger and larger...

Now to roleplay.

The drawves are in a tight spot with having lose men and the city.... They are in the middle of the mountains without a place to go. They therefore decided to seige the city, have a battle and hopefully retreat into safety - better than death in the open mountains.

The elves killed several enemy agents all over the place and gave the human cities back to the humans, to serve as a buffer against the dark forces north.

The also asked the elven brothers to help take a rebel city, but the elves claimed they were late... by the time they arrived the battle was over

Cirdan's elfven force had neem assaulted at the edge of brethil forest, mauling his army, and forcing it out and west , in its rout, against the overwhelming forces of darkness that stormed southwards , there were four huge orcish armies lead by two balrogs and two orcish generals, leaving the men of the forest, who had just secured the forest, in peril. There were some armies that were capable of making a defense of the forest, but with the leadership of Cirdan pushed away , the rest were more than a little daunted at the power of the forces of evil as they swarmed southwards, momentarily stunned into shock about the sudden defeat.

King Thingol hearing the news, decided not to take over command of the western forces, the defeat of his friend making him cautious , leaving the command to one of his underlinings, to act in his name and in the name of his people, preferring to act ,reading supplies operations, support the forces , keeping himself secure , more for the defense of the forest he justified, but there were more than a few relieved that he was leaving the command of the army in the hands of perhaps a more capable commander.

The elfven assassin moved around the cavern, hearing the sounds of fighting , feeling the rough edges of the stone of the caverns at ennas mornathron, his eyes adapting to the gloom, moving himself ever close to the end of the tunnel, where it seemed to end , leading to a open edge , he eyes looked out over the gap, to see down below him, which opened into a open cavern. Down below, a lone orc trained himself with various weapons fighting away in the darkness of the cavern under the direction of a older orc, the younger orc was obviously been trained for somesort of covert actions, and that alone was enough to make him dangerous.

Above the head of the training pair , was a heavy iron basin , filled with a weird form of oil, which had been lit , and was giving of a vague greenish burning light , giving the training cavern the barest amount of light to facilitate the training. The giant basin was suspended by a grouping of rough blacken'd rope, which held it in suspucion over the top of the cavern .

Seeing the glimpse of a idea of what could be setup, with the training pair below, the elf prepared his bow, waiting for the ultimate moment, and when he saw the training orc pair, stop below the basin , in a fierce struggle as their weapons clashed and each physically tried to push each others weapon away, he unleashed a flurry of arrow shots, each arrow slicing though a part of the rope , cutting away the supports of oil filled basin, which first tipped and then finally fell towards the orc pair.

The two orcs only had time to look up at the sudden noise below, they saw the oil basin descending at speed at them, but the elven assassin saw no more, his quick legs, pushing up the tunnels within the cavern , heading back to the open air, with the satisfaction of thwarting whatever scheme , the spider kin were cooking up.

The dwarves could not do much more than regroup...
Together with the elves they started to kill enemy spies









The Leader of the Elves was in a tough situation... he had received reports of an enemy army coming down the mountains to attack the drawves, at the same time, a city of men was under siege.
They had to opt which faction to aid. Either attack the caves and be ready to help the dwarves or go lift the siege.
They opt to attack the caves.

Problem was that the elves were not properly capable of fighting in the caves, and the dragons were easily able to kill many of them. many were skillful and elite warriors.. too many died, even with a 10 star general leading them... this victory was a victory only in name. They now stand too weak to help the dwarves, and the human city will fall as of next turn. they requested for a new army to be sent.

This is a troublesome situation
