Re: mod dont start
Does anyone know how to resolve the issue with loading any campaign like dark campaign but then results in ctd? Any way to resolve that issue would be great.

Re: mod dont start
Yes, you need to click "custom campaign" in the SP options and then select the Darkage campaign. Grand Campaign works only if you activate Late Era through the Launcher.

Re: mod dont start
Delete the mod folder, reinstall, select "Late Era" in the Launcher, start the game, enter the Singelplayer options, click on "Grand Campaign" and play.
Alternatively, select one of the other eras, continue to "Custom campaign" through the Singleplayer oprions and double-click on the era you chose in the launcher.

Re: mod dont start
You download the SV3 installer, the 3.3 patch and the Hotfix and run them in this order. You need to select the path manually as the executables are set to use the disk version's directory by default.
For further information, see this thread.

Can you create a folder and then place it within that folder or will it not work?

Re: mod dont start
That log entry comes from a crash with HRR, not SV. Where did you encounter the error report "file:///C:/Programs%20Files%20(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Medieval%20II%20Total%20War/mods/SicilianVespers/mods/SicilianVespers/data/blockset/north_europeans/animations/tower_castle_animations/castle_large_stone_tower_animations/large_castle_square_8m_arrow_tower_animation_a.$$A" (in which of the installation .exes/in the game)?
What did you do after entering the SV launch menu (era selection in blue letters on black background)?

Re: mod dont start
I pressed L and then went to the late campaign menu then selected England. It loaded for a bit and then crashed.

Re: mod dont start
This is what I got
21:20:03.525 [system.io] [info] exists: missing mods/TLR/preferences/player.txt
There is larger problem when I scrolled down. Is there a way to fix this? I got to half way through loading the England campaign then ctd.
