Do you approve of president bush and why, or why not?

I think he's too simplistic and childish a person to occupy such a lofty and powerful position in global politics. Though his intentions are, in all likelihood, admirable, his methods of carrying them out are blunt, immature, and tactless. I greatly disapprove of George W. Bush.
In short, he's an idiot, and we need someone less so. We need a Bismarck, Machiavellian Metternich of sorts, or even better, another T.R. In the very least, someone less stupid and more subtle, someone more open to change and choice; someone, anyone, other than Bush.

I was surprised to see a lengthy interview with him (rather than edits) in which he was an intelligent, passionate, compassionate and yes....even humble man!

I would go after the people responsible for 9/11, instead of Saddam.

I disapprove of Bush, obviously.
But not just because of his terrible foreign policy and failed military adventures, But also because I think his financial (mis) management is going to cause huge problems for the worlds economy, and a total collapse for the US economy.

That includes myself.

Those people are indeed called smartpants, they gather information, analize it, think it over one more time, and try and make a balanced decision.

Disaprove. Considering the results that are showing on the poll right now, I don't think I have to explain my reasoning. I'll just say this. Does anyone else think that Bush is a phenomenaly weak charachter? Everyone thinks he's such a "bold" kinda guy, but I say. He's got no guts whatsoever, no capability to lead. His power comes from riling up his base for "bold" action and then giving them what they want. I don't think he's got the testicular fortitude to actualy lead this country. He started the war in Iraq by telling people that they could have thier taxes cut, and thier sons wouldn't have to go off to fight for anything, and they'd get to watch some cool footage of the USAF napalming some mountains where there were "terrorists". Well, people got what they voted for, because Bush didn't want to stand up and tell people that if they wanted vengance for 9-11 they'd have to send more than a "lean and mean" force out to some already-defeated middle eastern country. They beleived the nonsense about Iraq being "about 9-11" and that the troops would be home by christmas.

I was about to say, I approve that he's doing the things that should be done, like being tough and going out to get people instead of them getting America. But instead of the guy laughing maniacally in a cape, he's going after an old lady. He's just not going about this right.
